OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM UMOR OTUTU HIKERS KLUBB

Cancellation of Umor Otutu Charity Hike 2025

Dear valued hikers and partners,

As we are already aware, the Patrick Joe Foundation has formally announced the cancellation of its signature event (the "Umor Otutu Charity Hike") which holds every December in collaboration with other stakeholders. It is a known fact that the planning and organization of this event in prior years has always been a collaborative venture between the Patrick Joe Foundation and other organized stakeholders and vested interests like Youths for New Nigeria - YNN, Umor Otutu Charity Hike , etc. who have always ensured its successful planning and ex*****on year-on-year. We want to use this medium to emphasize the fact that the decision to unilaterally cancel this years' edition of the "Umor Otutu Charity Hike" came as a surprise to us and feelers from other stakeholders are indicative of same.

We appreciate Patrick Joe Foundation's sole right of determining when to execute her yearly December event, hence rather than joining issues with them, we look forward to having many more collaborative hiking adventures together in future.

To all our teeming Klubb members who were looking forward to exploring nature during this event, we apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may have caused to your festive schedules and hereby call on all hikers on our platforms to remain calm and focused. Please use this time out to prep for a very exciting 2026 Hiking Year which shall be filled with many hiking experiences and fun-filled outdoor trails (including novel "Solo-Hikes") that have already been earmarked for ex*****on. Going forward , we also intend to touchup our nomenclature to reflect our diverse coverage and membership base as a result of the fruitful feedbacks we’ve received so far. Further details about these program scedules and innovations shall be communicated with the house soon.
