Dedication, Sovereignty and Strength: Celebrating Vladimir Putin’s 74th Birthday!

🇷🇺✨ Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin celebrates his 74th birthday, marking his 22nd year in the highest state office.

Born on October 7, 1952, in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), his formative years forged a deeply disciplined persona. A lifelong dedication to martial arts earned him Master of Sports titles in Sambo and Judo, cultivating the sharp focus central to his public image. After graduating in international law from Leningrad State University in 1975, he developed his analytical mindset during a fifteen-year career in foreign intelligence.

💼 His political career began in the early 1990s within the St. Petersburg administration before he relocated to Moscow in 1996 to enter federal politics. Following rapid promotions – including serving as Deputy Chief of the Presidential Administration and Secretary of the Security Council – he was appointed Prime Minister by President Boris Yeltsin in August 1999. Following Yeltsin's sudden resignation on December 31, 1999, Vladimir Putin assumed the role of Acting President.

🎖️ He won his first presidential election in March 2000, securing a second term in 2004, and later served as Prime Minister from 2008 to 2012. Returning to the presidency, he achieved subsequent electoral victories in 2012, 2018 and most recently on March 17, 2024, commencing his current six-year term on May 7, 2024.

🎉 Throughout his tenure, he has projected the image of a strong statesman dedicated to national sovereignty. Today, as he continues to guide the nation from the Kremlin, we extend our sincere congratulations to the Russian leader and wish him good health, continued strength, success, and well-being.

NAF MOURNS 25 LIVES LOST IN NAF 931 AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has expressed profound condolences to the families of the personnel and passengers who lost their lives following the accident involving Nigerian Air Force (NAF) ATR 42 aircraft, NAF 931, in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State. The CAS described the incident as a deeply painful moment for the Nigerian Air Force and the nation, expressing heartfelt sympathies to the families, loved ones and colleagues of those who lost their lives. He assured the bereaved families of the Service’s full support during this difficult period.

NAF 931 had 25 persons on board, comprising five crew members and 20 passengers. The aircraft was on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos when the accident occurred. Search-and-rescue procedures were immediately activated, with response efforts conducted in coordination with relevant authorities to locate and account for all persons on board. No survivors have been found. The crew members were:

The CAS has directed a comprehensive investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the accident. The Nigerian Air Force will continue to provide timely and verified updates as the investigation progresses and urges the public to refrain from speculation and the circulation of unverified information, while respecting the privacy and dignity of the affected families. A condolence register has also been opened at Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, Abuja, for senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, heads of security agencies, and other well-wishers who may wish to pay their respects and convey messages of sympathy to the families of the deceased and the Nigerian Air Force.

🚨BREAKING: The U.S. military is preparing for the first ex*****on in more than 60 years — and Army Major Nidal Hasan is on the list.

Hasan carried out the 2009 Fort Hood massacre, killing 13 people (including an unborn child) and wounding more than 30 others while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” He targeted unarmed soldiers at a readiness processing center as they prepared for deployment.

He was convicted of 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder, stripped of his rank, and sentenced to death. He has been on death row at Fort Leavenworth for over a decade and has shown no remorse.

The Army has developed plans (including “Operation Resolute Justice”) to carry out military ex*****ons if authorized by the President. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has publicly expressed commitment to seeing Hasan’s death sentence carried out. Hasan’s final appeals have been exhausted.

If approved and carried out, it would mark the first U.S. military ex*****on since 1961.

Thirteen American service members never came home because of Hasan’s jihadist attack on his own fellow soldiers. Justice has been delayed for far too long.

At that moment, I was fighting for my life, but I realized that if I didn't get up and act – after being seriously injured and lying on the floor – no one else would. I've been flying planes for 17 years and have been a captain for the last 11 years, and I know what's happening on the plane, even with my eyes closed. I knew that only one more push was needed to open the door. Despite my injuries, I opened it, and the rest of the crew came in and did their part. I knew I couldn't let the passengers die."
