✨ IGNITING CREATIVITY THROUGH BOOKS, COLOUR & CRAFT! 🎨📚💕

Today, Cr8tivehand is partnering with Pulser Book Club for an exciting Book Club Party designed to do more than encourage children to read—we're here to ignite their creativity! 🔥✨

From colourful expressions to hands-on crafts, every child gets the opportunity to imagine, create, explore and proudly say, “I made this!” 🥰

🎨 Colour Splash — for all children
🐦 Ages 4–5: Paper Bird Beak
👜 Girls 6–9: Craft Foam Cross Bags & Pompom Hair
📖 Boys 6–9: Book Dividers
🖼️ Ages 10–12: Affirmation Picture Frames

We believe every child is creative, and sometimes all they need is an opportunity, the right materials, and someone who believes in them. ❤️

Welcome to a new month filled with fresh ideas, beautiful possibilities, and endless creativity.

At Cr8tivehand Initiative Lagos, we believe every child carries a masterpiece within them.

This August, we'll continue igniting creativity, inspiring lives, and transforming communities one child at a time.

Before today, many of these children had never held a paintbrush or explored art in this way. It was their very first creative experience.

And yes... it took a lot of patience.
There were moments of excitement, moments of confusion, paint everywhere, and children eager to do everything at once. 😄 But with every gentle correction, every smile, and every word of encouragement, we watched confidence begin to grow.

Today, Cr8tivehand Initiative Lagos had the privilege of empowering the children of Amazing Grace Children's Church, Assemblies of God Church through creativity.

🎨 The primary pupils enjoyed a fun-filled Sip & Paint session. 👕 The Nursery & creche pupils designed affirmation T-shirts, wearing words that remind them of their worth and potential.

By the end of the outreach, the same children who didn't know where to begin were proudly holding up their artwork with bright smiles. That moment reminded us that every masterpiece starts with someone willing to be patient enough to teach.

Impact isn't always quiet or perfectly organized. Sometimes it's colourful, noisy, and requires extra grace. But that's where transformation happens.

To our amazing volunteers, Joy Vera Nwokoye Damilola Okuniyi thank you for choosing patience. To the leadership of Amazing Grace Children's Church, thank you for trusting us with your children.

This is why we do what we do. Because every child matters, and every child deserves the opportunity to discover the creativity God has placed inside them. 💜🎨

We currently have 21 volunteers . 8 from Cr8tivekidz craft and 13 outsource volunteers thanks to friends who never stopped helping us repost our flyer on their status..

I’m reaching out personally because I need a few extra hands for something creative and meaningful.

Cr8tivehand is partnering on Project 1000, and we’ll be handling the Art section T-shirt printing, cross-bag craft, and a sip & paint session for the kids.

Because it’s a weekday, some of our regular volunteers may not be available, so I’m inviting a few people I truly would love to work with.

You don’t have to be a professional artist. If you’re patient, warm, and enjoy working with children, that’s honestly enough. We just need helping hands to guide them, encourage them, and help keep the creativity flowing.

It’s going to be colorful, joyful, a little messy, and very beautiful. Most importantly, we’ll be giving children a chance to create something with their own hands and feel proud of it.

If you’re available, I’d really love for you to join me at the art station. Let’s make magic together for these kids.

Let me re-introduce myself to my new friends and followers here

Hi beautiful people 👋🏽🌸

My name is Angelfunmi, and I am the convener of Cr8tivehand and When Girls Unwind.

Since 2020, Cr8tivehand has reached over 4,000 children, creating safe and creative spaces where children can express themselves through art, imagination, and hands-on learning. It is built on the belief that every child deserves a voice, expression, and the freedom to create.

And since 2024 ,When Girls Unwind have impacted over 1,000 women, a space created for Christian women who feel they missed out on parts of their childhood and are open to reconnecting with that joy again through play, relaxation, sisterhood, and healing rest. It is a gentle reminder that joy is still part of their journey.

Cr8tivehand speaks to the child’s imagination.

When Girls Unwind restores the woman’s joy.
