*Ota Youth Assembly Holds Strategic Meeting with Kabiesi Olota*

The leadership and members of the Ota Youth Assembly, under the leadership of Prince Adefolarin Adeniyi Ojugbele, held a strategic meeting with Oba Prof. AbdulKabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, Olofin Apesin Olode, Arole Iganmode, Lanlege Ekun II, on Tuesday, 7th July 2026, at Isiyemi Hall, Olota's Palace, Ota.

The meeting was highly interactive, as His Majesty graciously gave every youth in attendance the opportunity to freely express their opinions, concerns, and aspirations without fear or intimidation. In his usual fatherly manner, Kabiesi listened attentively and responded to every issue raised with wisdom and clarity.

Discussions centred on matters affecting the growth and development of Ota Awori Kingdom, including youth empowerment, infrastructure, security, political participation, the welfare of residents, education, and the preservation of the rich traditions and cultural heritage of Ota. The meeting provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and constructive suggestions aimed at advancing the progress of the kingdom.

The leadership of the Ota Youth Assembly also briefed His Majesty on the forthcoming Ota Youth Week 2026 and presented the activities lined up for the annual youth development programme. Kabiesi commended the initiative, pledged his full support towards its success, and assured the Assembly of his readiness to attend and participate in the various activities whenever his presence is required throughout the programme.

His Majesty further reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to protecting the interests of Ota youths and promoting their active participation in the affairs of the kingdom. He assured the Assembly of his continued support for initiatives that will foster peace, unity, and sustainable development across Ota and its environs.

The Ota Youth Assembly expressed profound appreciation to His Majesty for his fatherly love, accessibility, and commitment to engaging with the youth. The Assembly also commended Kabiesi's willingness to listen to the yearnings of the youth and his dedication to strengthening the partnership between the Palace and the Ota Youth Assembly for the continued growth, peace, and prosperity of Ota Awori Kingdom.
