APART FROM THE OBVIOUS FACT THAT BERNARD ELECHI IS THE MOST QUALIFIED CANDIDATE FOR THE JOB, HE ALSO REPRESENTS THE ZONE THAT SHOULD PRODUCE THE NEXT LGA CHAIRMAN.

EMOHUA IS MADE OF THREE ZONES YET ONLY ONE ZONE SEEMS TO HAVE BEING PRODUCING OUR LGA CHAIRMAN WHICH ONLY EXPLAINS WHY OUR LGA IS THIS BACKWARD MANY YEARS AFTER.

THE CURRENT CTC CHAIRMAN COMES FROM THE SAME ZONE AS THE PAST LGA CHAIRMEN LIKE; CHIEF ALLEN NMA, CHIEF TOM ALIEZI AND CHIEF CHIDI LLOYD.

ITS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THE LGA DOESN'T BELONG TO A PARTICULAR ZONE HENCE, THE NEED TO VOTE FOR AMB.SIR.CHIEF.HON BENARD N. ELECHI FROM THE MIDDLE-BELT ZONE FOR EQUITY, JUSTICE AND FAIRNESS.

FOOTBALL COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT ( FIVE ASIDE)!!!

We are excited to announce an upcoming football competition that promises to be a thrilling and unforgettable event for football enthusiasts of all ages. This competition is set to bring together teams from our community for a celebration of the beautiful game.

Event Details:

Kick-Off Date: 26 November to 09 December 2023

Time: 4:pm daily.

Location: Ama Mgbuzi

Registration Fee: 2000 naira per team.

Sales of form: 1st October to 11 November 2023.

Prizes:
FIRST PLACE 20,000
SECOND PLACE 15,000,
THIRD PLACE 10,000

We invite all interested teams and individuals to participate and showcase their football skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just looking to have some fun on the field, this competition is open to all skill levels.

I condemn the Human Rights Abuse that is Currently going on in Rundele Community, Emohua Local Government Area, Rivers State, by the Nigerian Army.

The Nigerian Army must respect human rights and deploy intelligence in recovering whatever they claim was taken from its personnel by some criminals in Rundele community and not to lock down the community and make life unbearable for innocent people in search of the criminals. Rundele community never converged and planned to steal their raffle or uniforms. Rundele community is peaceful and the people are law abiding. Again, criminal liability is not vicarious in nature. The military launch of a ‘total offensive’ in Rundele community in a manner only fit for external aggression is unacceptable and could be termed a hostile invasion by the federal government against Rundele community and a serious abuse of human rights against all laid down rules of engagement and the laws of the land.

This is exactly what happened in Odi in 1999 and the federal government has not recovered from the billions of naira awarded by the Court against the government for invading Odi communities and that of Zaki Bian in the same manner.

The Nigerian Army must be called to order. This is purely a criminal matter and the persons responsible should be tracked and arrested. Rundele community is ready to give the Nigerian Army or security agencies all the cooperation to ensure that the culprits are arrested. The burden to track and arrest the culprits should not be tactically shifted to the community. Members of Rundele community who know nothing about the crime should be allowed to attend to their lawful businesses.

I have it on good authority that some persons are already missing in the community as a result of the invasion. The federal government will be held accountable for the loss of life of innocent persons in Rundele community.
