NUTRITION AWARENESS: FIGHTING CHILD MALNUTRITION WITH TOM BROWN

Child malnutrition remains a serious public health challenge in many communities across Potiskum. Many children suffer from poor growth, weakness, and illness due to lack of nutritious food.

To support families and protect the health of our children, DRN is raising awareness on the importance of Tom Brown, a locally prepared nutritious cereal made from grains and legumes.

Tom Brown is:

βœ… Rich in proteins, vitamins, and minerals
βœ… Supports healthy growth and weight gain
βœ… Helps recover malnourished children
βœ… Affordable and easy for families to prepare at home

Through community engagement and nutrition education, DRN is working to help parents understand how simple, locally available foods can improve children's health and development.

Healthy nutrition today means a stronger generation tomorrow.

🀝 We welcome collaboration from health partners, community leaders, and organizations interested in supporting nutrition awareness and child health.
