This is disheartening and has serious consequences for the environment. Something years cannot fix.

Our cofounder reviews progress on advocacy for the Special Seats Bill at the National Assembly Gender desk as he examined the available data on expected votes with , Resident Representative. It is important that, as we advocate for policy reforms, we measure progress so we can channel our energy in the right places.

As we progressed on our journey toward the Special Seats Bill, the mindset of lawmakers regarding women in leadership is deeply rooted in culture.
After the vote is passed, we will publish the exact data of supporters.

However, South East… South South… where are our representatives?

Tag your lawmakers and explain to them why having only 4% of women in the National Assembly, out of a 50% population, is injustice.

The Niger Delta is wealth, and it’s not just about our natural resources but also our culture, our people, our heritage, our land, and our nature.
If you’ve seen and loved how it showcased the preservation of culture alongside great technological advancement, owned, driven, and managed by the , then you’ve seen a reflection of what Africa should be.
We must retain our culture, keep our land, conserve our resources, and own, manage, and shape our own advancement.

Neocolonialism must end.
Exploitation must end.
Conflict must end.
Environmental pollution must end.

The Niger Delta must unite for a common goal.
Our environment defines us, our culture binds us and we must protect it.

Odioma, Brass LGA, Bayelsa State, welcomed us with so much warmth. This is how life should be, and this is why we fight for the Niger Delta environment.
