MOVE FOR INCLUSIVENESS AND PARTNERSHIP, NYCN RIVERS STATE CHAPTER VISITS OBI III, OBA (EZE-OGBA) OF OGBALAND.

In a move to foster the inclusiveness of the traditional institution in the state in the affairs and dealings of the youths , the chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Rivers State Chapter Rotr. Comr. Nwisabari Bani Samuel led a delegation of the Council to the palace of the Obi III, Oba (EZE-OGBA) of Ogbaland, His Eminence Barr. Dr. Nwachukwu Nnam Obuohna.

The visit was necessitated by the chairman's desire to include royal fathers in the affairs of the council.

Speaking at the event, the chairman appreciated him for his effort in advancing the affairs of the youth in his kingdom and also for his support to the security operatives in combating crimes and criminalities.

The chairman further clarifies that despite the false narrative by some social media users and few security challenge months back , he was able to support the security agency to restore normalcy.

He equally solicited for his Eminence's support towards the skill acquisition programme of the Council tag" ONE YOUTH ONE SKILL" coming soon for Rivers youths .

The chairman used the visit to present a portrait to His Eminence in recognition of his efforts in restoring peace in his kingdom and Rivers State at large .

Barr. Dr. Nwachukwu Nnam Obuohna Oba III, Oba (EZE-OGBA) of Ogbaland thanked the Council for coming and promise to support the Council whenever the need arises.

NYCN RIVERS STATE CHAPTER AFFIRMS SUPPORT FOR SOLE ADMINISTRATOR, ADVOCATES FOR PEACEFUL RECONCILIATION.

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Rivers State Chapter, under the leadership of Chairman Rotr. Comr. Nwisabari Bani, engaged in a consultative meeting with the Sole Administrator of Rivers State at Government House, Port Harcourt, today.

During the discussion, the NYCN formally pledged its complete support to the Sole Administrator, acknowledging and appreciating the steps taken to ensure peace and stability in Rivers State. The Council recognized the importance of the Sole Administrator's role in navigating the current situation.

The NYCN also conveyed its gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for his decisive actions in restoring peace to Rivers State.

Furthermore, the Council issued a call to all stakeholders and the people of Rivers State to actively support and embrace the peace and reconciliation process initiated by the President, emphasizing the need for collective effort to achieve lasting normalcy in the state.

In response, the Sole Administrator affirmed his commitment to actively engaging and incorporating the youth of Rivers State into the development and implementation of state policies and programs.

The visit concluded with the Chairman of NYCN Rivers State presenting an award to the Sole Administrator for his efforts in restoring normalcy to Rivers State.
