UPDATE FROM NAIROBI 🇰🇪 | PAN AFRICAN YOUTH PARLIAMENT

This morning, I had the honor of attending the inaugural meeting ahead of the Annual Pan African Leadership Awards and Nation Building Conference, right here in the heart of Nairobi.

In a powerful breakfast session at CJs Restaurant, I sat with our dynamic President, Najma Ahmed Abdi, and the ever-dedicated Board Chairman, Ambassador Sixtus Obinna Nwoke. Our discussions were nothing short of explosive — bold ideas, renewed commitment, and a united vision for Africa’s transformation took center stage.

As Deputy Global President of the Independent Pan African Youth Parliament, I’m more convinced than ever that Africa’s future is in capable hands.

The journey has begun. And we are just getting started. 🔥🌍

It's truly a historic handover from Nigeria to Somalia. Just as in Rotary, we must hand over. I have served as the pioneer President since inception. In a few days, I shall hand over to my former deputy, who is now our President. First female president, First Muslim, First Somalian.

Indeed the world is female. Najma Ahmed Abdi is a powerful figure, Independent Pan-African Youth Parliament is in for a good time. I am now the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Come and join us.

Emmanuel Essang: The Humble Leader Making Big Moves for Africa’s Youth

By Bush Udombo

Not every leader needs to shout to be heard. Some people lead with quiet strength, clear focus, and real results. That’s the story of Emmanuel Essang—a man who has worked hard, stayed humble, and is now leading not just in his local community, but across Africa.

Emmanuel started his journey at the University of Port Harcourt, where he studied Accounting. But he didn’t stop there. He kept learning by taking more professional courses, both in Nigeria and outside the country. He believes learning never ends and that knowledge is the key to doing better in life and business.

Over the years, he has handled serious responsibilities. He once worked as the Base Manager at Asian Oilfield Ltd. in Port Harcourt. That job required him to be focused, smart, and able to manage both people and big projects. Today, he runs his own company—Krecnoitt Projects Services Ltd.—as the Managing Director and CEO. Through his company, he’s creating jobs, solving problems, and showing others how to succeed with integrity.

But Emmanuel isn’t just about business. He cares deeply about young people and his community. That’s why he became the President General of the Obolo Youth Coalition (OYC) Worldwide. In that position, he’s been working to bring unity and progress to the Obolo people, especially the youths. He believes young people should be given the right tools and platforms to grow and lead.

His passion for youth development didn’t go unnoticed. He was recently elected as the Deputy Global President of the Independent Pan African Youth Parliament (IPAYP). This means that youths across Africa believe in him and trust him to represent their interests on the global stage. That’s a big deal—and it proves that good work always speaks for itself.

Even with all these achievements, Emmanuel remains a simple and family-loving man. He’s married and blessed with four wonderful children. While he’s busy changing lives outside, he also makes sure his home is filled with love and care. That balance between public life and private life is what truly makes him a complete leader.

In a time when many leaders chase fame and attention, Emmanuel Essang stands out by doing the work quietly and letting the results speak. His life shows us that you don’t need to make noise to make impact. You just need to stay focused, work hard, and remain true to your values.

For the youths in Nigeria and across Africa, Emmanuel Essang is a shining example. He shows that with education, dedication, and a good heart, anyone can rise and lead change—no matter where they come from.
