We’ve been talking about the conversations we want to have at WIEConf, and now, we get to introduce some of the people who will help lead them.

Our keynote speakers come from different fields and bring different experiences to the table.

Each one has a perspective that will add something important to the conversations we’ll be having around work, care and women’s economic participation.

And this is one of the things we love about WIEConf.

You’re not coming into a room where someone talks at you and everyone goes home.

MEET OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

WIEConf is the kind of conference where everyone participates!

During the keynote sessions, we lay the foundation for the conversations that follow, giving everyone in the room something to think about, question and engage with.

So, what do we know about Ciara Prince ?

CIARA PRINCE is a Lawyer, Chartered Mediator, and Flexible Work Advocate.

She is the Founder and Lead Advocate of the WomanIncluded Eco-Dev Foundation, an initiative born from her desire to see more women participate sustainably in the workforce and in the economy.

She takes this conversation further in her forthcoming book, BOTH: On Work, Home and the Cost of Forcing a Choice, which calls on employers, business leaders, families, and government to play their respective roles in creating conditions that enable women’s sustained economic participation.

With experience across Law, HR, and operations, Ciara champions flexible work policies and humane work practices that enable people to deliver their best without having to sacrifice their lives outside work.

Our women had such a beautiful time at the WIE Community Recharge Hangout in Kaduna this past Saturday. 🤭

Sometimes, with everything we have going on, rest becomes the thing we keep postponing.

There is always work to finish, family to attend to, or one more thing waiting on the list.

So, we decided to use this day to have meaningful conversations, connect and, of course, rest.

We talked, shared experiences, met new people and that is really what the Recharge Hangout is about.😊
Creating room to breathe, reconnect and remind ourselves that we matter too.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day what it was. 🎉

We look forward to more moments like this our across the different states in the Nation and beyond. 🤍

During the keynote sessions, we lay the foundation for the conversations that follow, giving everyone in the room something to think about, question and engage with.

So, what do we know about Otobore Onesi Olumoye ?

TOBORE OLUMOYE is a personal finance coach with over 22 years experience working in the financial services sector.

She helps individuals and teams set up their financial plans and achieve financial clarity.

She has spoken to thousands of staff of organizations and members of religious and social groups. She currently has over 200 clients across the world and is an author and publisher of several amazing books.

Tobore is a graduate of Chemical Engineering and holds several certifications in Financial Planning, Customer Service and Public Speaking. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants.

Her major driving force is a strong belief that Africans will do better financially if they know better.
Tobore is married with three children.

So, what do we know about Adeleye?

TOSIN is an author, thought leader, institution builder and leadership strategist committed to developing minds, building leaders and strengthening the institutions that shape society.

He is the founder of The Thinking Generation, a thought leadership movement focused on cultivating wisdom, critical thinking, discernment and intellectual stewardship.

He is also the author of The Giant Gauntlet: Winning in the Marketplace, Deeper Than Results, Find X, Find X for Young Minds, and the Tales from Creature Campus series.

Tosin is the creator of Build & Balance, a board game designed to develop critical thinking, sound judgment, collaboration and thoughtful leadership.

Professionally, he spent over a decade with La Sien Bottling Company Limited, rising through leadership roles to become General Manager, with oversight across operations, strategy, finance, procurement, HR, risk management and organizational development.

Beyond his professional work, he is the founder of Nets & Sickle Limited, Dahrom Limited and FortresCare Limited, and co-founder of the Shola & Janet Adeleye Memorial Foundation.

At WIEConf 2026, Tosin brings his experience in leadership, critical thinking and institution building to a shared conversation about work, care and the future of women's economic participation.

We’ve seen the pitfalls, the downturns and the friction that occurs when care is treated as though it doesn’t happen.

We’ve seen CVs turned down because mothers took maternity leave, with these periods sometimes treated as “gaps.”

We’ve seen a lot happen.

While we look forward to WIEConf 2026, the WIE Community Recharge Hangout holds this Saturday in Kaduna.

Women often carry a lot, constantly intersecting between multiple worlds. From work, family, relationships, business, caregiving to even personal aspirations.

And somewhere in the middle of managing all these responsibilities, rest is often pushed to the bottom of the list.

Something to be earned after everything else has been accomplished.

This Saturday, we're changing the narrative and making room for rest and productive conversations.

We'll look at how we can explore better ways to navigate the demands of work, family and life without constant burn out.

It promises to be a time of recharge!
