Mind Your Words
(Part 2)

Why is it that some people can walk into a room and instantly command respect without saying a single word while others with loud voice and polished words are easily ignored in a world obsessed with appearances, charm and charisma?

The difference is in the confidence or lack of confidence that is subconsciously noticed by the people in the room. Confidence commands respect and attention than what we wear or say. Confidence is internal and it's one major enhancer of what we say and how we look externally.
Always remember that, confidence is not what you project, but what you withhold.

The person who rushes to speak and jumps to reveal his opinion is a weak person, not because he lacks intelligence or ability, but because he lacks the ability to withhold. People of influence know that what is concealed controls more than what is flaunted especially through words.

As we go out today, as we create new bonds and try to enhance old ones, don't forget to speak less and wisely.

Mind Your Words

Every time you speak unnecessarily, you give away something. You give away your thoughts, your fears, your strategy and your weakness.

People can study your words and use it against you, but if you can control your tongue, speak little and only speak when your words are clear, and you know and are sure of what you say, you remain untouchable. You confuse your enemies and guard your peace.

This is not being mysterious, but being intentional. People can't manipulate what they don't understand and can't control someone whose mind, they can't read.
