As the Action Alliance (AA) candidate in the June 20 Rivers South-East Senatorial bye-election, I have formally filed a petition before the Election Petition Tribunal challenging the outcome of the election.

In my petition, I am asking the Tribunal to nullify the declaration of the PDP candidate, Olaka Nwogu, as the winner and to declare me the duly elected Senator for Rivers South-East Senatorial District.

I have submitted comprehensive documentary and material evidence before the Tribunal to support my claims of irregularities that marred the election.

I firmly believe the evidence presented justifies my request for the Tribunal to uphold the true mandate of the people by declaring me the rightful winner.
As of the time of this statement, the Tribunal has not fixed a date for the hearing.

The respondents, including Olaka Nwogu and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), are expected to file their responses within the time prescribed by law.

I wish to utilize this singular opportunity bestowed upon me by God to express my deepest gratitude to all my supporters who participated in the Saturday by-election.

I personally witnessed instances where some of you were obstructed and harassed. Prior to the event, I actively advocated against violence and advised my supporters to refrain from engaging in any form of hostility.

I want to assure you that I am driven by a divine mission, which will be fulfilled when the judgement against the wicked is fully executed. I will persevere through every challenge and remain committed to this mission.

Be rest assured of the triumph that lies ahead of us, which prophetically will take an unexpected turn. I was called by God for a specific purpose, I will continue to adhere to His guidance until our adversaries are overcome.

We will persist in our endeavors, focusing on assisting the people, and our network will continue to expand as more individuals subscribe to our vision.

I urge you to remain vigilant and prayerful, knowing that the God we serve is faithful to His promises. I will steadfastly advocate for the rights of the people and resist the influence of corruption.

I had previously stated that the Rivers South East senatorial bye-election would serve as a litmus test for the 2027 election.

Regrettably, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has once again fallen short of expectations.

It appears that INEC faced significant challenges, including insufficient funds to cover logistics for transporting materials to various wards which we assisted them when those materials were left on the road with staff.

Furthermore, the commission failed to provide result sheets, which are essential for conducting elections.

There were also allegations of INEC officials relocating to private hotel accommodations to manipulate results.

More disturbingly, INEC was accused of facilitating vote buying, allowing materials to be taken to private homes, and instructing polling unit officials not to upload results as required. We intend to take all necessary steps to expose this malfeasance.

The truth behind this flawed electoral system will be laid bare globally.

I have instructed our polling unit agents and Local Government Area collation agents not to sign any documents that may compromise our position.

The evidence we present will determine whether INEC is prepared for the 2027 elections.

In light of these irregularities, I unequivocally reject this undemocratic electoral process and call for the outright cancellation of the election, pending the presentation of our evidence.

I am delighted to express my deepest gratitude to all my supporters and prayer partners for their unwavering encouragement.

I extend my appreciation to those who have stood by me, both physically and spiritually, as well as to those who offered words of encouragement on social media and those whose constructive criticisms have challenged me to grow stronger.

During my campaign tour yesterday, I received numerous international calls requiring my immediate attention and a WhatsApp message from a friend in the UK regarding a positive publication.

Below is a significant announcement:

"We are pleased to inform you that following a thorough review of applications worldwide, you have been selected as a fully sponsored delegate for the International Dialogue on Peace and Leadership scheduled to take place in New York (United State of America).

This selection underscores your leadership potential, profile strength, and commitment to fostering positive change."

The International Dialogue on Peace and Leadership serves as a global platform uniting emerging leaders, human rights advocates, diplomats, and change-makers worldwide.

I am deeply humbled by this privilege, which I attribute to the favor of God, and I am grateful to all my supporters, particularly those who prayed with me.

I had the opportunity to participate in an interview two months ago, comprising both a Zoom oral session and a written component.

Despite the intense competition, I am confident that God's favor led to my selection, which I discovered upon reviewing the results two weeks ago.

We are driven not by competition with others but by a profound desire for change.

This opportunity arises at a time when I am seeking to represent my people in the National Assembly, and I believe it signifies that God has a greater plan for us all.

It is essential to look beyond the current state of society and believe that change is possible.
