I warmly welcome all the vibrant youths of Oye Local Government, Ilupeju-Ekiti, and the entire Ekiti youths both at home and in the diaspora to the beautiful month of April.

April is a special month that reminds us of hope, renewal, and new beginnings, especially as we celebrate the Easter season, which symbolizes sacrifice, love, and victory of life over challenges.

As your brother and youth leader, I encourage every youth to remain focused, hardworking, and united as we continue to build a stronger and more progressive community.

Our strength lies in our unity, our ideas, and our commitment to positive development.
Let this new month bring peace, success, open doors, and greater opportunities to every youth in Oye, Ilupeju, Ekiti State, and our brothers and sisters in the diaspora.

My dear brothers and sisters of Oye/Ikole Federal Constituency,

As we celebrate this sacred season of Eid, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to all our Muslim faithful and the entire good people of our constituency. May this season of sacrifice, love, and obedience to Almighty Allah bring peace, prosperity, and renewed hope to every home.

Eid reminds us of the values of unity, compassion, and selfless service to humanity. These are the same values that continue to inspire my commitment to serve you with integrity, dedication, and purposeful leadership.

ENGR. FEMI FAGBEMI APPLAUDS BISHOP FELIX AJAKAIYE FOR SPONSORING CHILDREN OF THE LESS PRIVILEGED IN SCHOOLS

The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti, Most Rev. Felix Ajakaiye, has been commended for his unwavering commitment to both spiritual guidance and humanitarian services aimed at building a just and egalitarian society.

The President of Ilupeju Youth Development Association, who also doubles as the Oye Local Government Youth President, Engineer Femi Fagbemi, gave the commendation on Monday during a courtesy visit to the Bishop at his residence in Ado-Ekiti.

Engineer Fagbemi noted that Nigeria would have been a more peaceful and progressive nation if leaders in positions of authority could emulate the lifestyle of Bishop Ajakaiye, who not only contributes immensely to the development of society but also prioritises human capital development, irrespective of cost.

---Leads youths to fill bad portions,cut trees to avert accident

The president of Ilupeju youth Development Associaion, Engineer Femi Fagbemi on Friday morning led youths of the town on Community social responsibilities (CSR) where potholes, thick bushes around the popular Esinkun junction and sharp corner opposite Obalatan Grammar school were filled with sand and bushes/ trees cleared to avert accident.

Engineer Fagbemi who lamented the rate at which accidents claim lives along Esinkun-Obalatan enroute Itapa due to potholes and bushes that prevent on coming vehicles from clearly seening each other necessitated the proactive action of the youths .
While speaking with Precise News, he said Nigerians should have maintenance culture for the well being of all and sundries, saying it’s for the good of both government and citizens.

He stressed further that Government would spend less if roads are urgently fixed before they become impassible for users .

He cautioned drivers and motorcycle riders to reduce their speed on the road, saying live has no duplicate.

According to the president, “We youths are agile, we can not pretend that we are not aware of the dangers potholes, bushes and trees that cover the part ways portend to our people, Unfortunately, our members are mostly victims of this ugly trend that can be averted if we are sensitive enough. Three days ago, a fatal accident occurred on the very spot we filled this morning. With the little we have done, lives of our people are saved because drivers would no longer veer into the bad spots again. Although, what we have done is not the permanent solution but Government can take it up from where we stopped.

Engr. Fagbemi Christopher Oluwafemi is a pragmatic and outstanding youth leader. At 52 years old, he is the first son of the late Pa Ojo Fagbemi. He is highly intelligent and well-educated, holding a B.Sc. in Engineering, and he successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. He also obtained a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Engineering.

Engr. Fagbemi currently serves as President of the Ilupeju Youth Development Association and Youth President of Oye Local Government. He is widely regarded as a passionate, selfless, and visionary leader.
His dedication to youth development and community advancement continues to set a remarkable standard. Over the years, he has demonstrated an uncommon commitment to the growth and progress of Ilupeju-Ekiti, Oye Local Government, and its surrounding communities.

He has consistently made himself available to support and guide young people in realizing their dreams. Vocal, fearless, responsible, reliable, and trustworthy,
Engr. Fagbemi has distinguished himself as a dependable voice and strong advocate for youth empowerment.
