We miss you ❣️

Dearly Beloved Brethren!

It is with a mix of profound gratitude and a touch of bittersweet sadness that we share the news of our Highly respected Chaplain (Ven. Barr. Ugochukwu Ekeocha) and Mrs Favour Ekeocha (Mama Poly)'s transfer out of our Chaplaincy to a new phase of ministry at the Ihiagwa Archdeaconry Headquarters (St. John's Anglican Church) effective January 11th, 2026. While we are truly happy for him as he embarks on this new chapter, our hearts are heavy knowing that his comforting presence and guiding spirit will no longer be a regular fixture within our church walls

Our dear father in the Lord is not just a priest; he is a teacher, builder, mentor, administrator, and a profoundly learned servant of God. For about 22years of devoted service (2003–2025) at Praise God Anglican Chaplaincy, he laboured tirelessly to build not just structures, but people. As he often demonstrated, the greatest church is not merely the building, but the lives built within it.

Under his visionary leadership, Praise God Anglican Chaplaincy grew into what is today recognized as one of the largest, best-structured, and most vibrant chaplaincies in Nigeria. His achievements speak loudly:
the strengthening of sound doctrine and teaching for over 22 years,
the building and improvement of church structures, including the parsonage,
the establishment of high standards of discipline, excellence, and continuity in ministry,
and the deliberate grooming and release of men and women prepared for service in the Church and society.
His ministry has left indelible footprints—spiritually, physically, and intellectually. Praise God Anglican Chaplaincy today stands as a living testimony of commitment, vision, and sacrificial leadership.

Daddy, we are deeply grateful for your fatherly guidance, wise counsel, and unwavering dedication to God’s work. Though we will miss your presence among us, we rejoice because we know that God is simply transferring a proven vessel to another vineyard for even greater impact.
We pray that the Lord who called You will continually uphold You, renew your strength, enlarge your coast, and grant you fresh Grace, deeper wisdom, and greater anointing for the work ahead. May your ministry flourish even more, and may your legacy continue to speak for generations.

Daddy, we wish you well from the depths of our hearts.
You have run faithfully; you have built excellently; you have taught diligently.
May the Lord guide you always.
May the oil of God upon you never run dry.
Amen.
