FAITH AND PHILANTHROPY: MAZI CHIMA MATTHEW AMADI, PHD COMMEMORATES CATHOLIC MEN'S DAY, VENERATES ANGLICAN WOMEN, DONATES ₦26.8 MILLION ACROSS 20 CHURCHES

"For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just..." — Genesis 18:19

As the Catholic Church worldwide extols her men on this 3rd day of May 2026, Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi — popularly known and celebrated as Mazi Gburugburu — once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to faith, family, and community by honouring the sacred roles of fathers and women across denominational lines.

Recognising fathers as the pillars of every home, church, and society, Mazi Gburugburu, in his characteristic and generous manner, delegated members of the Central Working Committee of The Mazi Organisation (TMO), distinguishably led by the Director General, Hon. Henry Onwukwe (Apiti Uzo-Ubi) to represent him at selected rural and urban Catholic Churches across Owerri Zone and beyond, celebrating the Catholic Men's Day on his behalf.

In a gesture consistent with his earlier support during the Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) Annual Mothering Sunday, which took place on 19th April 2026, Dr. Chima Amadi donated the sum of ₦1,000,000 (One Million Naira) and ₦1,500,000 (One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira) respectively to the Catholic Men Organisation (CMO) of each Catholic Church visited, affirming his equal and unwavering support for both men and women in the body of Christ.

Not stopping there, Mazi Gburugburu further extended his philanthropic reach to the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, directing The Mazi Organisation (TMO) to visit Anglican branches across Owerri Zone and Imo State to worship and support their women. Though TMO's prior engagements had prevented their attendance at the Anglican Mothering Sunday Service, Mazi Chima Matthew Amadi ensured that the Anglican faithful were not left behind — donating ₦1,000,000 (One Million Naira) to each Anglican church visited in observance and honour of their past Mothering Sunday.

In total, ₦26,800,000 (Twenty-Six Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira) was donated across 20 churches, both Catholic and Anglican — spreading the spirit of love, honour, and generosity across communities in Imo State.

About Mazi Chima Matthew Amadi, PhD, A Leader of Vision, Faith and Purpose:

Beyond his extraordinary acts of philanthropy and community service, Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi is a proud and committed member of the Action Peoples' Party (APP) , a party symbolised by the elephant, an enduring emblem of strength, resilience, and purposeful leadership. True to the values the elephant represents, Mazi Gburugburu has consistently demonstrated a steady, grounded, and people-centred approach to leadership that resonates deeply with the grassroots.

His vision for the Imo East Senatorial Zone and Imo State at large is bold, clear, and transformative — anchored on four powerful pillars:

• Our Place Secured — Guaranteeing the safety of our people, restoring Imo State’s political relevance, repositioning our state for progress, and reclaiming our rightful dignity on the national stage—so our voice is never silenced or sidelined by insecurity.

• Our People Greatly Educated — Championing access to quality education at all levels, equipping the youth with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to compete and excel in a rapidly evolving world.

• Our Economy Elevated — Driving sustainable economic growth through entrepreneurship, agriculture, trade, and investment, creating jobs, reducing poverty, and expanding prosperity across all communities.

• Our Rural Communities Infrastructurally Developed — Prioritising the transformation of rural communities through roads, bridges, healthcare facilities, schools, electricity, and water supply, ensuring that no community is left behind.

Mazi Gburugburu's leadership is not merely political, it is deeply spiritual, social, and sacrificial. He leads not for personal glory, but for the collective upliftment of his people. His actions speak louder than his words, and today's generous donation of ₦26.8 million to 20 churches across Imo State is yet another testament to a man who truly walks his talk.

The Mazi Organisation (TMO) continues to stand as a beacon of community development, spiritual support, and social responsibility under the visionary leadership of Mazi Chima Matthew Amadi, PhD — a son of the soil, a servant of the people, and a leader for the times.

PRESS RELEASE

RE:COURT NULLIFIES APP CONGRESSES NATIONWIDE: WHITE LIES & A 21ST CENTURY FALSEHOOD DEAD ON ARRIVAL

It has come to the notice of Action peoples' party (APP) Imo state chapter ably led by Hon.Ernest Njesi that a purported federal high court sitting in Gusau,Zamfara state presided by Justice Hamza Mohamed has nullified all conducted and supervised Congresses by the national office of our great party led by Barr.Uchenna Nnadi Which by implication, affects the Imo state chapter which concluded its Congresses on 26th April,2026.

The APP Imo state hereby vehemently refutes that from its impeccable investigation,no judgement or exparte order exist or emanates from any court in Zamfara state. It is important to clarify that no court in the federal republic of Nigeria has nullifed APP Congresses nationwide, including Imo state chapter, nor deregistered APP. Imo APP members and the general public should ignore and disregard the FAKE NEWS from the pit of hell which is the handiwork of APC government of Imo state. It is indeed a cacophony and blabbing of an outgoing failed government which must not be taken serious in its entirety.

To this end,let it be clear that the federal high court in Zamfara state lacks jurisdiction to entertain such exparte motion brought by a faceless Kelechi Anyanwu Unknown to the party which makes the alarmist failed in his figment of imagination.

The case of the party's status of APP has been adjudicated by the court of Appeal Abuja division which validated the legitimacy and legality of APP as constitutionally registered and recognised political party in Nigeria. No,more,no less!

To our party faithful and supporters in Imo,APP remain the grassroot dominant opposition party with two(2) performing national Assembly members, structures across the 305 INEC wards,27 LGAs and the 3- senatorial zones reinvigorated and repositioned to win the forthcoming general election at all levels in Imo state inview of the massive grassroot support, popularity and acceptability of the elephant party,APP. The party will leave no stone unturned to sensitive and mobilize Imo electorates to vote out the inept, DIRECTIONLESS WISHY-WASHY government at Douglas house Owerri come 2027.

AMADI DISMISSES FALSE COURT CLAIM, ACCUSES GOVERNMENT OF DESPERATE MISINFORMATION

The attention of Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi (Mazi Gburugburu) has been drawn to another laughable and malicious publication alleging that a Federal High Court sitting in Gusau, Zamfara State nullified the congresses of the Action Peoples Party (APP) nationwide. We wish to state in unequivocal terms that this report is a mischievous fabrication, a calculated falsehood, and a desperate propaganda stunt orchestrated by a panic-stricken APC administration in Imo afraid of its inevitable electoral rejection.

For the avoidance of doubt, there is no such subsisting order or judgment from any court of competent jurisdiction nullifying the congresses of our great party. The claim is not only false but also betrays a poor understanding of judicial processes and the rule of law. It is a deliberate attempt to mislead the public, create confusion, and undermine the credibility of a political movement that continues to gain widespread acceptance and popularity.

We find it both ironic and pathetic that an administration that has consistently presided over governance failures would now resort to planting fictitious court judgments in a bid to cling to relevance. This reckless disinformation campaign is a clear indication that the Uzodimma-led government is deeply rattled by the growing popularity and structured grassroots pe*******on of our party, APP.

Let it be clearly stated that our recently concluded ward, local government, and state congresses were conducted in full compliance with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2026 (as amended) and in line with all constitutional guidelines of our party. These congresses monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were transparent, credible, and widely adjudged as a model of internal party democracy.

Rather than dissipating energy on propaganda and cheap political gimmicks, we challenge the outgoing government in Imo State to prepare to meet us in the field, where the will of the people will be freely expressed. No amount of falsehood, intimidation, or distortion of facts can stop the rising tide of a people determined to reclaim their future.

We therefore call on our supporters, party faithful, and the general public to disregard this baseless publication and all similar narratives, as they are nothing but infertile gimmicks from a known electoral bandit desperate to manipulate public perception. The people are wiser, more informed, and resolute in their demand for accountable and people-oriented leadership.

Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi remains focused, undeterred, and fully committed to the collective aspiration of building a new Imo State anchored on justice, development, and inclusive governance. No amount of coordinated falsehood can derail this mission.
May Imo prevail!

Over the years, he has supported indigent men and women, traders, and students, built homes for families, funded church projects, payment of tuition fees and awarded bursaries to more than 700 students both within and outside Imo State. His track record reflects a deep commitment to uplifting communities and strengthening faith-based institutions.

Looking ahead to the January and November 2027 elections, Dr. Amadi has made clear that his governorship ambition is not driven by personal gain but by a vision to liberate Imolites from career politicians who lack verifiable educational backgrounds, offer no credible economic growth strategies, and misappropriate public funds meant for security and infrastructure. His growing influence and consistent acts of goodwill have positioned him as a prominent figure championing a message of revival across the political landscape of Nigeria, with a strong foothold in Imo State.

Dr. Amadi is a proud member of the Action Peoples’ Party (APP), symbolized by the elephant—an emblem of strength, resilience, and purposeful leadership.

His vision, as perceived by supporters, is anchored on transforming Imo State into a hub of opportunity, development, and inclusive governance, driven by competence and integrity.

TORONTO MARKET DEMOLITION CRISIS: DR. CHIMA MATTHEW AMADI PROVIDES EMERGENCY CASH RELIEF TO DISPLACED WOMEN TRADERS IN URATTA, OWERRI NORTH LGA

In a decisive move to cushion the harsh economic effects of the recent demolition at the Uratta Toronto Market, renowned human rights advocate and capital development expert, Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi, has stepped in with a massive financial intervention for over 500 displaced women traders.

The demolition, carried out as part of recent urban enforcement activities, left a trail of economic devastation, stripping hundreds of grassroots entrepreneurs of their stalls, goods, and primary sources of livelihood. Recognizing the immediate threat to the survival of these families, Dr. Amadi, through his flagship philanthropic vehicle, The Mazi Organization (TMO), launched an emergency edition of the celebrated "Mazi Goes to Market" initiative.

Governance with a Human Face; During the direct disbursement exercise, Dr. Amadi, represented by the Director General of The Mazi Organization, Hon. Chief Henry Onwukwe personally assessed the site to witness the extent of the displacement. Addressing the crowd of distraught traders, Chief Onwukwe delivered a poignant message from Dr. Amadi regarding the intersection of state policy and citizen welfare.

"Governance without a human face is merely an exercise in authority," Dr. Amadi stated. "While we acknowledge that urban planning and modernization are necessary for a growing state, such actions must never come at the expense of the dignity and survival of the poor. We cannot stand by while mothers, who form the very backbone of our local economy, are pushed into sudden, avoidable poverty."

Direct Impact and Economic Restoration. The emergency relief fund was designed to provide immediate liquidity to the most vulnerable. Each of the traders received direct cash grants intended to help them:

• Secure temporary trading spaces to maintain their presence in the market.

• Replenish lost inventory destroyed or misplaced during the demolition.

• Sustain household needs during this period of forced transition.

The intervention was met with emotional scenes of gratitude, as many traders expressed that they had lost all hope of returning to business before the intervention of The Mazi Organization.

A Consistent Pattern of Philanthropy. This latest intervention is not an isolated event but a continuation of Dr. Amadi’s long-standing "People-First" agenda. Dr. Amadi, a leading 2027 gubernatorial aspirant, has consistently demonstrated a commitment to social justice and economic revitalization in Imo State.

His recent philanthropic milestones include:

• Healthcare: The clearing of over ₦90 million in medical bills for indigent patients at Holy Rosary Hospital, Emekuku, and the Federal University Teaching Hospital, Owerri (FUTH).

• SME Empowerment: Through the ongoing “Mazi Goes to Market” tour, over ₦250 million has been disbursed to traders across various markets in the state, providing critical capital support to strengthen small businesses and stimulate local economic growth.

• Social Justice: Continuous advocacy for policies that protect the informal sector from predatory enforcement.

About The Mazi Organization (TMO).
The Mazi Organization is a non-profit dedicated to human capital development, poverty alleviation, and the promotion of social justice. Founded by Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi, the organization believes that the true measure of leadership is the elevation of the most vulnerable members of society.

Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi is a proud member of the Action Peoples’ Party (APP). Represented by the Elephant, the APP signifies resilience and purposeful leadership.
