Nigerian Feminist Forum

Nigerian Feminist Forum The Nigerian Feminist Forum is a biennial conference that brings together Nigerian feminist activists to deliberate on issues of key concern to the movement.

It was developed out of the growing concern amongst feminists in the Country, that the efforts to This project has been years in the making. It has been discussed at Nigerian women’s meetings, at international meetings, in corridors, over dinner, drinks, etc. In 2005 at AWID International Forum, Nigerian feminists present agreed to make the NFF a priority. This was taken a step further in 2006, wh

en a group of us meet at the first African Feminist Forum (which several of us had helped to organize) in Accra Ghana. The Nigerian Feminists there formed a steering committee to organize a NFF.
