*Celebrating Dr Leo Stan Ekeh, OFR, FNCS @ 70.*
It is three scores and ten. Our Chairman is 70 today!
22.2.26 is a special day and we are celebrating an outstanding individual who adds great value to our society.
Today, we celebrate our Chairman, my big brother, dependable friend and leader, exceptional mentor, serial successful entrepreneur, extraordinary philanthropist, and outstanding digital space guru, Dr Leo Stan Ekeh, OFR, FNCS, Chairman, Zinox Group and KONGA Group.
I have known the name Dr Leo Stan Ekeh for over 25 years, and meeting him personally 15 years ago, is a great experience.
His name is prominent in the African's ICT space. He has been consistent in the business arena for 40 years and counting.
I often describe Dr Leo Stan Ekeh as an encyclopedia. He's a man in the NOW! Spending an hour with him is like taking an MBA Course in an Ivy League Business School!
Dr Leo Stan Ekeh represents many things to many people. He is a mentor, business leader, cheerleader, philanthropist and a great supporter of Youths development.
I remember traveling with him to Owerri - Imo State - where he went on a mission to empower the Youths. His passion for Youths development is incomparable.
On January 4, 2022, Dr Ekeh donated the sum of N500 Million Naira for the creation of jobs and promotion of peace in Imo State.
Dr Ekeh believes that when the Youths are empowered, the Nation will be developed. He has promoted this noble ideology on several platforms.
In August 2019, Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation announced a three-year revolving interest free loan of N1bn over the next 10 years to petty traders, and small and medium businesses. I was Guest Speaker for three days - for the event hosted at Imo State University by Leo Stan Ekeh foundation to empower Youths on entrepreneurship development.
The foundation also announced an additional N500m for the educational support project of indigent but intelligent students of Imo State to enable them acquire proper University education.
During Imo State Economic Summit 2025, Dr Leo Stan Ekeh donated the sum of N5 Billion to support Education in Imo State.
Dr Ekeh is a detrabilized Nigerian who sponsors Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation Center at Imo State University, Augustine University in Epe - Lagos State, and a University in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State. The centre is a finishing school that prepares and supports young Nigerians on Entrepreneurship, Money Management, Artificial Intelligence, and so on. I am a Director at the center and I know the sacrifices the sponsor is making to support Nigerians.
Through his organizations, Dr Ekeh sponsors Nigeria Sales Conference, the biggest sales conference in the country - where professionals converge yearly for capability building and networking free of charge! May God continue to bless him. Amen.
Dr Ekeh is an epitome of humility; he is a model of what success should be.
