Victory Center For home Based Care (VCHCC) is a non governmental, non profit, orierted non religious, non political and non ethnic organization registered in Nigeria for the purpose of carrying out home based Medicare at no cost to recipients. INTRODUTION:
The number and complexity of debilitating health condition are increasing by the day, cases of sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AID
S, Cancer, Tuberculosis, Stroke, Injuries from automobile and inclustrial accidents. War and social disturbance are on the rise daily, 90% of aged Nigerian are not pensionable they have either been mina worker, petty farmers traders, farmers and complete house wife, high and outrageous medical bells by some private health institations. OUR VISSION:
To see a nation where everybody, every home/ family is united in good knowledge of health care, irrespective of S*x, Age, Location, Religion, Scioeconmic status and condition. To accomplish the vision of the foundation by directly launching awareness companies to the desperate and ignorant, in the village and communities especially the most remote areas of the states and the entire country, on care of the aged and very ill people at home.
2. To embank on mission and programmers throughout Nigeria and in any part of the needy to stem the tide of immorality
3. We shall educate persons/ families and communities on different change that occur at aging, communicable and transmittable diseases on way of prevention and control of spread
4. We shall educate the family and community on the change and demand of the old people within them.
5. We shall recruit and equip volunteers for the purpose of sending them to various communities to care for the sick in their homes and providing counseling and training to family members
6. We shall identify and train orphans in their homes and guide them towards becoming responsible and independent adults in the society.
7. We shall promote the acceptance of infected people to their families after treatment and help in integrating such people back to the society to resume normal lives.
8. We shall counsel people with social and emotional stress and help people with low income on how to improve their income by guiding them on how and where to learn new skills and trade.
9. In times disaster or outbreak of diseases in any part of the country and beyond, we will make our skill and resources available to help the victims
