To all Village Youth Chairmen.

Highlights of our resolutions on Tuesday April 22nd 2025 meeting.

1. Every Village youth chairman should pay the sum of N15,000.00 each to make up the N50,000.00 for the purchase of Emekuku Ancient Town Youth Organization election form for the positions zoned to Azaraubo autonomous community youths and photocopies. Pay through the Azaraegbelu youth chairman's account

2. On security, every Village was directed to form their vigilantes and submit names of 10 able bodied men of integrity and unquestionable character in union with their village heads to our Traditional ruler, Azaraubo youth President or Azaraubo security coordinator with immediate effect.

3. Every Village youth chairman should sensitize their youths before next week Monday April 28 towards our bush combing by next weekend.

4. Every Village youth chairman should also send 5 able bodied men of integrity and unquestionable character for our internally generated revenue central task force Committee as well as submitting all the IGR locations in their villages to the undersigned.

5. The above reports from the village youth chairmen should reach us on or before our next emergency meeting on Tuesday April 29th 2025 by 4pm at Amanchichi square, Azaraowalla.

6. Summary of AZARAUBO YOUTH ORGANIZATION Meeting held at Onum Hall Azaraegbelu on 23/04/23
~MEETING ORDER~
-Opening Prayer: this was said by Elder Uche Izu.
-Reading of minutes was read by the DOS1 Mr MacDonald.
Agreement made from previous meeting according to the minutes.
1) Financial records of members to be posted on the platform
2) posting summary of minutes to the platform after meetings
3) to post requirements of AZARAUBO YOUTH database on the platform.

First Agenda: REGISTRATION- A new member was welcomed among us, in the person of Miss Oluchi Nnadi from Amachara Azaraegbelu
Second Agenda: DATABASE/ COMPENDIUM AND YEAR BOOK- through deliberations made, the informations collected before 2 weeks time, will be compiled, published and submitted to necessary authorities. Those who couldn't submit can still submit to make up the second batch , so as not to miss this divine opportunity.
Third Agenda: REPORT FROM THE PRESIDENT.- The president gave report of a meeting between the Honourable member-elect representing Owerri federal constituency and the stake holders which he attended. The message was for all constituents to go back and suggest in agreement 3 major project of great need, they would love to be helped with in the community level. He also used the opportunity to reinterate the submission of our details for the database, so we might use the opportunity to submit a copy to the Honorable member.
Forth Agenda: VILLAGE REPORT - Mr MacDonald gave report for Uboegbelu while Mr Rowland Mbah gave a general report being the chief security coordinator. They both highlighted on the issue of unemployment and present increase in tenants without proper verification in our villages, due to this rise in numbers it was concluded that tenancy report will be circulated through various youth leaders, also letter will be written to the other village heads on the issue of security.

NDE Uboegbelu na Ubowalla ....Ndeewonu. I have read all the posts so far concerning the revival of our cultural heritage, "EMUME ISU ACHARA".
1. I appeal that whoever feels offended should pardon his brother because we are one.
2. Yes, the festival is a historical one and must follow the history.
3. As the Azaraubo Youth President/Leader, it has been one of our topmost agenda but it has not been followed up.
4. I visited home some weeks ago, our people were called at Afor Ubo market square. We were informed of the encroachment of Umuocham and Umuakuru villages into our God-given MBARACHARA, which is still in court if am not mistaken and other Emekuku villages, even the state government is eyeing MBARACHARA without proper recognition/compensation to the original owners, THE UBOS. This necessitated the immediate activation of the land/culture by d owners to establish ownership. At this point, I concurred.
5. I was home on Sunday March 19, 2023. I was called by the Committee. They told me that Ugochukwu Abakporo and myself are automatic members of the committee as Emekuku ancient town youth org and Azaraubo youth organization Leaders from Ubowalla. I immediately advised them to contact/inform Uboegbelu and Ubowalla governing members as well as every member of the community. I was told the the key/core families of NWACHUKWUOCHA OKORIE AND ANURNMKEM NWOKE are not interested and the culture needs revival.
6. Ceteris paribus, Other Emekuku have/do UGU- UZO, while we do EMUME ACHARA. I was also told that we are reviving our cultural heritage devoid of fe**sh activities, (no longer EMUME AGBARA.
7. Based on the above premises, I enjoin the committee to do the needful to carry everybody along in this epoch making event after many years no matter the little/grand style.
