Seeing the need that nursing mother's face during delivery and after delivery to get some materials and kits for themselves, The Rotaract Clubs of Owerri Metropolitan, Federal University of technology Owerri IMSU Main Campus and SUG Futo. had to carry out an exercise to figure out what the needs of the health center was and filled in to make the healthcare of the patients paramount.

The project aims to improve maternal and child health by donating essential medical equipment and baby care items to a primary healthcare facility.
The project aims to improve maternal and child health by donating essential medical equipment and baby care items to a primary healthcare facility. The donation includes a fetal Doppler for monitoring unborn babies, a neonatal cot for safe newborn care, and baby kits for nursing mothers. The project also includes a brief health education session emphasizing the importance of regular antenatal and postnatal care, early health-seeking behavior, and proper newborn care. It will directly benefit about 20 pregnant women, nursing mothers, and newborns, while the donated equipment will continue to serve many more families in the community for years, improving the quality of maternal and child healthcare.

Pregnant women attending the health facility now have access to essential medical equipment that enables healthcare workers to monitor the health and development of their babies while still in the womb, improving the quality of prenatal care.
The facility has been equipped with a newborn baby bed, providing a safe and comfortable space for infants immediately after birth. This durable equipment will serve mothers and babies in the community for many years.

Nursing mothers have received baby care kits containing essential items such as diapers and other newborn necessities. These kits will support proper infant care, reduce the financial burden on families, and promote the health and well-being of newborns.
