Saving lives, one pint at a time ❤️🩸

The Rotaract Club of Oto-Awori (D9111) proudly joined forces with fellow Rotaract clubs across District 9112 to carry out a impactful blood donation drive at Gbagada General Hospital.

Together, we came out not just to donate blood, but to give hope, support healthcare, and make a real difference in our community. Every drop donated is a chance at life for someone in need.

Service above self—today and always. 💉✨

Access to clean water and proper hygiene is essential for a healthy learning environment. In line with our commitment to community development, the Rotaract Club of Oto-Awori successfully carried out the revamping of the borehole and handwashing facility at Ilogbo Elegba Junior Grammar School.

This WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) project is designed to provide students with reliable access to safe water while promoting good hygiene practices, especially among young learners. By restoring these vital facilities, we are not just fixing infrastructure—we are improving health, supporting education, and building a safer school environment.

Together, we are creating lasting impact, one project at a time. 💧✨

In line with Rotary’s Area of Focus on Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution, the Rotaract Club of Oto-Awori extended a hand of fellowship to the newly established Police Station in Oto-Awori by donating reflective jackets to support their operations.

This gesture aims to enhance safety, improve visibility, and strengthen effective service within the community.

We also had a brief meeting with the DPO, where we introduced our club and shared our vision. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation for our visit and thoughtful support, noting how meaningful it is to be recognized and encouraged through such acts of goodwill.

Service above self. 🤝

Yesterday marked another impactful moment for the Rotaract Club of Oto-Awori as we continued our commitment to building a brighter and more inclusive future for our community. 💛📚

In the spirit of service and compassion, we reached out to 56 amazing students, equipping them with complete sets of essential writing materials — including notebooks, pencils, rulers, pens, socks, and other basic school needs. For many of these children, these items are not just supplies, but a gateway to consistent learning and a better future.

Education remains one of the most powerful tools for change, and we believe that no child should be held back due to lack of basic resources. This outreach is a step towards reducing that gap — ensuring that every child has the opportunity to stay in school, learn effectively, and dream bigger. ✨

Beyond the materials shared, the smiles, excitement, and renewed hope we saw in the eyes of the students reminded us why we serve. It’s not just about giving — it’s about making a lasting impact and inspiring a generation to believe in their potential.

We remain committed to reaching more communities, touching more lives, and creating sustainable impact through service. Together, we can continue to empower young minds and shape a better tomorrow. 💪🏽🌍
