AEF Rejects Egbedun’s Baseless Propaganda

Rebuttal Statement

The attention of the Aaraji Empowerment Foundation (AEF) has been drawn to a mischievous and baseless allegation made by Hon. Wale Egbedun, claiming that Engr. Kehinde Raji, popularly known as Aaraji, is begging the Adeleke family for ₦30 million.

This statement is not only false but also a deliberate attempt at character assassination. Engr. Kehinde Raji is a man of proven integrity, a philanthropist who has contributed immensely to the development of humanity, and a pillar of support to the less privileged. His track record speaks louder than any fabricated lies.

It is on record that Aaraji contributed both morally and financially to the election of Governor Adeleke, standing firmly by the people’s mandate. Beyond politics, he has consistently uplifted lives through AEF and other platforms. We can personally count many individuals who have benefitted from his generosity, many of these acts of kindness are not even publicised on social media.

How then can anyone with a sense of morality accuse such a man of begging for ₦30 million? This is not only ridiculous but also an insult to the intelligence of the people. Only the gullible will believe such an obnoxious and irrational statement.

AEF will resist any attempt by any individual, no matter how highly placed, to tarnish the image of Engr. Kehinde Raji. We will quench their irresponsible lies with facts and expose their mediocrity with truth. Hon. Egbedun’s reckless outburst lacks moral standards and is tantamount to cheap propaganda.

Engr. Kehinde Raji has built a solid foundation and a good name that no amount of castigation or mischievous statements can destroy. His legacy of service, philanthropy, and humanity remains unshaken.

AEF MEDIA OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Adeleke Sikiru Is Not an AEF Member – His Reckless Post Crosses All Boundaries

The attention of the All AEF Media Team has been drawn to a highly irresponsible, divisive, and dangerous post made by one Adeleke Sikiru, who is NOT a member of the AEF.

In the said post, Adeleke Sikiru falsely claimed:
“All AEF members are now APC led by ARAJI. don’t eat KEJEBUUU on December 6 because they have poison it.”

This statement is not only false but deeply malicious. By spreading unfounded rumours of “poison” targeted at AEF members on December 6, he is deliberately attempting to incite fear, panic, and hatred among our people. Such a post has serious

implications:
Implications of Adeleke Sikiru’s Post:

Inciting Public Fear and Panic: Suggesting that food (KEJEBUUU) prepared or associated with AEF members is poisoned is a direct attempt to damage the reputation and safety perception of our association and its members. This could lead to unnecessary tension, avoidance of communal events, and breakdown of trust.

Political Weaponization: Dragging the entire AEF into partisan politics by claiming all members are now “APC led by ARAJI” is a clear attempt to politicize and divide our non-partisan association.

Character Assassination: The post aims to portray AEF members as untrustworthy or harmful, which can harm personal and collective relationships, businesses, and social standing within the community.

Potential for Violence or Hostility: False allegations of poisoning have historically led to serious conflicts, mob actions, or targeted attacks in communities. This reckless statement could endanger lives and peace.

Adeleke Sikiru has clearly crossed the line with this poisonous and divisive message. His actions do not represent the AEF in any way.

AEF’s Position:
The AEF is a united, non-political body committed to the welfare and progress of its members. We strongly condemn this baseless and dangerous post. We want to make it crystal clear to the public that Adeleke Sikiru does not speak for the AEF and is not affiliated with us.

Appropriate measures will be taken against this act of defamation and incitement. The AEF will pursue all necessary legal and internal actions to protect the integrity of our association and the safety of our members.

We urge all AEF members and the general public to disregard this malicious claim entirely. There is no truth to it. Let us continue to promote unity, peace, and mutual respect.

AEF remains one, strong, and undivided.

AEF HOLDS URGENT STRATEGIC MEETING, DECLARES SUPPORT FOR AMBO’S VISION FOR OSUN

In a decisive move aimed at shaping the future of Osun State, the AEF leadership convened an urgent and highly strategic meeting yesterday, bringing together key stakeholders, zonal coordinators and committed members across the state.

The meeting, which focused on the collective goal of advancing Osun’s development, was led by Engr Raji Kehinde Aaraji, who used the platform to clearly articulate the position and direction of the forum.

In his address, Aaraji made it unequivocally clear that AEF is committed to supporting progress-driven leadership, emphasizing that the forum stands firmly behind personalities with proven capacity, vision, and a genuine passion for the people — not political parties.

He further announced that, following extensive discussions and critical evaluation, AEF has resolved to support Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji (popularly known as AMBO).

According to Aaraji, this decision is rooted in a shared belief that Ambo possesses the leadership qualities needed to reposition Osun State for sustainable growth and inclusive development.

“AEF believes in leadership that delivers, after careful engagement and understanding of his plans, we are convinced that Ambo is the right person to lead Osun State out of Nepotism, executive recklessness, poor leadership qualities and usher Osun into a new era of prosperity,” Aaraji stated.

He also did not shy away from addressing the current political climate, criticizing elements he described as “political opportunists and destabilizing forces,” while reaffirming AEF’s commitment to aligning with credible leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the people above all.

Aaraji stressed that the forum’s mission remains people-centered, with a strong focus on uplifting the poor, empowering communities and ensuring that governance translates into real benefits for ordinary citizens across Osun State.

The meeting also served as an opportunity to appreciate the dedication and consistency of AEF’s coordinators at all levels who were present in large numbers. Aaraji commended their efforts and charged them with the responsibility of taking the message of hope, unity, and progress back to their respective wards, local governments and senatorial districts.

He urged them to mobilize members, engage communities and spread the forum’s vision, emphasizing that the journey toward a better Osun requires collective effort and unwavering commitment.

“As we move forward, let us remain united in purpose;go back to your wards, spread the good news and continue to strengthen the base of AEF.
Together, we will build an Osun that works for everyone,” he concluded.

The meeting ended on a high note, with renewed energy, clarity of purpose, and a shared determination among members to work tirelessly towards achieving a better, more prosperous Osun State for all.
