Officers and men of Man O’ War Nigeria, Osun State Command, have demonstrated their commitment to the growth and development of the Command through a voluntary contribution towards the provision of an executive chair to the office of the State Commander.

The presentation was made on Saturday, 8th August, 2026, during the Command’s State Meeting. The executive chair was formally presented by CSM. Ajibade Muyiwa on behalf of the contributing officers and men.

The gesture reflects the spirit of unity, commitment, and collective responsibility among members of the Command. It further serves as an encouragement to all officers and men that no contribution is too small to support the development, progress, and success of the Command.

The presentation concluded with the dedication of the executive chair, jointly conducted by a Muslim officer and a Christian officer, symbolizing unity, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence among members of the Command.

OSUN STATE COMMAND REAFFIRMS UNITY, DISCIPLINE AND RESPECT FOR CHAIN OF COMMAND

The Osun State Command of Man O’ War Nigeria has reiterated the importance of unity, discipline, teamwork, professionalism, and strict adherence to the established chain of command among all officers and members.

The emphasis was made during the Command’s recent monthly state meeting, where the State Commander welcomed officers and members and commended them for their continued commitment, dedication, and contributions towards the growth and development of the Command.

The meeting deliberated on several important administrative and operational matters, including preparations for the forthcoming National Camp, proper registration of Units, leadership certificates, and the need for strict compliance with approved administrative procedures.

The newly appointed Area Commanders were particularly encouraged to maintain effective communication and consultation with the State Command and obtain the necessary approval before undertaking major actions or making decisions capable of affecting the administration and operations of their respective Area Commands.

The State Command also urged all officers and members to emulate the dedication, discipline, professionalism, and commitment demonstrated by active officers, while continuously contributing positively to the growth, unity, and overall development of Man O’ War Nigeria.

Furthermore, the Command emphasized that all NYSC-related applications, appointments, engagements, and other official matters must be processed through the appropriate administrative channels, beginning with the relevant Area Command and proceeding to the State Command where necessary.

The Man O’ War Nigeria, Osun State Command, under the leadership of MC SD Omole, remains committed to promoting unity, discipline, cooperation, professionalism, and effective service, while ensuring strict adherence to the principles of regimentation and the established chain of command.

MAN O’ WAR NIGERIA, OSUN STATE COMMAND SWEARS IN NEWLY APPOINTED AREA COMMAND EXECUTIVES

Man O’ War Nigeria, Osun State Command, on Saturday, 25th July, 2026, successfully conducted the documentation, verification, swearing-in, and inauguration of its newly appointed Area Command Executives at the State Headquarters, Man O’ War Village, Oke D.O, Oke-Ayepe Area, Osogbo.

The documentation and verification exercise commenced earlier in the day under the supervision of the Deputy State Commander, Administration & Finance, DMC Arowosegbe. Some of the appointees had arrived at the State Headquarters on Friday, 24th July, 2026, in preparation for the exercise.

Speaking during the ceremony, the State Commander, MC S.D. Omole, congratulated the newly appointed Area Command Executives for their perseverance, dedication, and commitment throughout the appointment process. He described their appointments as a call to greater service and responsibility and charged them to lead with discipline, integrity, accountability, and teamwork while prioritizing the growth and development of their respective Area Commands and Units.

The Oath of Office was administered by DMC Arowosegbe, beginning with the Area Commanders, followed by the Deputy Area Commanders (Administration & Accounts), Assistant Area Commanders (Training & Operations), Assistant Area Commanders (Intelligence & Information Gathering), and Assistant Area Commanders (Provost Marshal).

The State Commander further reminded all executives that their appointments are subject to a six-month probationary period, during which their commitment, conduct, and performance will be assessed. He emphasized that any officer found wanting in the discharge of his or her duties or found wanting in matters of discipline would be subjected to appropriate disciplinary measures in accordance with the organization’s Code of Conduct.

The ceremony officially marked the commencement of a new phase of leadership across the various Area Commands in Osun State, reflecting a renewed commitment to discipline, effective administration, youth development, and community service in line with the ideals and objectives of Man O’ War Nigeria.

Man O' War Nigeria, Osun State Command, today commemorated the 100 Days in Office of the State Commander, MC S.D. Omole, and the State Executive, in recognition of their dedicated leadership and commitment to the growth of the Command.

As part of the celebration, a special Jumat prayer was held and graced by the presence of distinguished officers and well-wishers, including DNC Olajide Popoola, ANC S.O. Ibrahim, MC M.A. Taiwo, and other invited guests.

Special prayers were offered by the Chief Imam for the continued progress of Man O' War Nigeria, Osun State Command. The prayers focused on divine wisdom, strength, protection, and success for the State Commander and his Executive as they continue to discharge their responsibilities with discipline, integrity, and commitment.

The programme concluded with goodwill messages and prayers for greater achievements, unity, and sustained development of the Command under the present administration.

CLTC Positions Man O' War Nigeria as Key Partner in Federal School Safety Push

The Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC), Rinsola Abiola, has thrown her weight behind a fresh push to safeguard Nigerian schools, following a high-level meeting with officials of Financing Safe Schools and Man O' War Nigeria at the Centre's headquarters.

According to a statement she personally shared via her official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Abiola hosted a delegation from Financing Safe Schools, an initiative supervised by the Federal Ministry of Finance, led by its National Coordinator, Hajiya Halima Iliya Ibrahim. Also in attendance was a team from Man O' War Nigeria, headed by the National Commander, Prince Gbenga Adedamola.

The engagement, the CLTC boss disclosed, was primarily focused on charting a path for collaboration between the two organisations and her agency. Central to the discussion was how Man O' War Nigeria's extensive nationwide volunteer network could be deployed to support coordinated safety operations in schools across the country.

Abiola noted that the partnership would tap into structures already built by Man O' War Nigeria, an organisation long associated with discipline, physical training and civic responsibility among Nigerian youths, to strengthen protective measures for pupils and students nationwide amid growing concerns over insecurity in the education sector.

Reaffirming her Centre's readiness to key into the collaboration, Abiola assured that CLTC would provide whatever backing is required to move the partnership forward. She tied the gesture to the Centre's broader mandate, stressing that the move aligns with a shared commitment to promoting safer learning environments for young Nigerians.

The CLTC helmsman's disposition comes against the backdrop of persistent worries over school safety in parts of the country, ranging from banditry-linked abductions in the North to sporadic security breaches in other regions, concerns that have repeatedly forced government agencies and civil society groups to seek innovative, community-driven solutions.

With Financing Safe Schools operating under the Federal Ministry of Finance's supervision and Man O' War Nigeria bringing decades of grassroots volunteer experience, the partnership, could offer a fresh template for protecting
Nigeria's classrooms.

MAN O' WAR NIGERIA, OSUN STATE COMMAND HOLDS JULY STATE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Man O' War Nigeria, Osun State Command, held its July State General Meeting at the State Headquarters, Man O' War Village, State Permanent Training Base, Oke D.O., Oke-Ayepe Area, Osogbo.

The meeting featured the State Executive Council Meeting and the General Assembly, where key administrative and organizational matters were discussed. Members also received a lecture on Man O' War Nigeria Dress Regulations, emphasizing proper dress code, discipline, and professionalism.

In his address, the State Commander, MC S.D. Omole, welcomed members, confirmed the appointments of the State Adjutant and Officer Commanding (OC) Training, and urged all officers to remain dedicated to their responsibilities. He also encouraged members to consistently support the development of the State Command.

The Commander further announced the forthcoming Drill Squad enrollment Exercise, which will coincide with his 100 Days in Office celebration, and encouraged members to participate. He also called on interested officers and members to register for the National Camp scheduled for August 2026 at Shere Hills, Jos, Plateau State.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by members to uphold discipline, unity, and the core values of Man O' War Nigeria.
