One last Sunday. One more gathering. One more reminder that there is a power that draws, stirs, transforms and compels.

Last month was filled with moments we cannot fully put into words such as encounters, lessons, laughter, worship, fellowship and a grace that kept calling us deeper.

And as we brought the month to a close, we didn’t just mark the end of a theme; we paused to remember all that God has been doing among us.

From the moment you put on that khaki, to the first march on the parade ground, early morning activities, camp drills, new faces, new friendships and all the beautiful chaos that comes with camp life, your NYSC journey officially begins today!

But beyond the khaki, the drills and the camp activities, God has a purpose for this season.

“Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war…” Jeremiah 51:20

You are more than just Corps Members. You are God’s Battle Axes, and we’re excited to see all He will do in and through you in this season.

So, dear batch C corps members, settle in, make memories, meet new people, enjoy the journey and most importantly, let God have His way.

We’ve had two powerful days at our Family Retreat, and honestly, there’s still more.

Day 1 reminded us of WHY PURITY — purity keeps the altar alive. The enemy seeks to distract a man and make him asleep, ultimately drawing him away from the glory of God.

Day 2 showed us that walking in purity is not by our strength alone. There is GRACE TO WALK IN PURITY.

Now, we’re stepping into the final day!

THE COMPELLING POWER - ANAGKAZO

When the Word of God comes alive in a heart, it doesn’t leave you the same.

There is a power that compels, drawing men, stirring hearts, and moving us from simply hearing to responding.

“Compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23

We received the Word. We were stirred. And we were reminded that there is a call to respond.

When we receive the Word of God, it is not meant to leave us the same.

The Word comes to challenge, convict, transform, and compel us into a change that reflects Christ.

This powerful scene was a reminder that when we truly receive God’s Word, we must respond to it.

The Word is received. Hearts are stirred. Lives are changed.
