Rotary is an international organisation of service and fellowship. it is non-political and non-religious but membership is open to everyone.

The 2021 District Vibrant Club Workshop was very interesting. On that note, I want to thank our Sponsor Rotary Club(RC Owerri Metropolitan) for the privilege, also our sponsor club President Rtn. George Clifford for your support, our President Rtr. Favour PHF for the opportunity and also my Co-Rotaractors and intending Rotaractors for your encouragement.

In this year workshop, a lot was taught and here is a brief rundown.

Rotary clubs serve communities selflessly around the world based on a needs assessment for each community executing a range of sustainable projects in seven areas of focus: basic education and literacy, maternity and child health, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, economic and community development, peace and conflict prevention/resolution, and supporting the environment.

Rotarians and Rotaractors are change makers ie Service to change Lives and they are also Visionaries ie the see the vision and take the action. Also in Rotary we grow together, we identify potentials, we engage them and train them.

OBJECTIVES OF ROTARY
1. To encourage and foster the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service

2. To encourage and foster high Ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society.

3. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life.

4. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons United in the ideal of service.

Rotaractors exchange ideas with leaders in the community; develop leadership and professional skills and have fun through service in communities worldwide. Rotaract is one of the largest
