Sometimes, when things don't go the way you planned them, you maybe branded as an irresponsible fellow. Don't kill your self. At this point, accept the temporary bruise on your ego. Accept reality and protect your sanity. Embrace your humanity and know that, this too, shall pass. Do not resign to self-pity or self-sabotage. This could be a way God is using to train and re-direct you to a more rewarding experience.
Ever know: heaven is doing something,in ways, man cannot understand.

*Life Skills Everyone Must Have*
Series Two.

I went to a secondary school to speak and I asked one of the students: "what do you want to be in future?" And she answered: "I want to be a Pharmacist". Further I asked: "why do you want to be a Pharmacist?" And she replied: "I want to be a Pharmacist because that's what my parents say I should study".

The above represents the situation of most people. They have no personal reason for doing what they are doing. They're only doing it because someone else tells them to do so.

This brings us to the concept of *Motive*,a life skill that is lacking in most people. *Motive* means the reason for doing what you are doing. If you are asked now to state the reason why you are doing what you are doing now, do you have the answers?

The concept of Motive brings your awareness, your consciousness to knowing the future implications of what you are about to do or what you are doing now. This life skill is lacking greatly in our world today and that's why people are dying prematurely and dreams are cut short.

Most people in the higher institution are not even aware of why they are there. This why cultism, student prostitution, truancy etc are on the increase. As long as people are not aware of why they are doing what they are doing,it will be impossible for them to change. *Hence, people don't change because you tell them to change,they change because they have seen the reason for change*.

Any person,any institution that is able to make people discover reasons for change, should be preserved,valued and appreciated. And guess what,we have such an awesome institution here and the name is: *Living to Make Impact Foundation*. All we do here is focus on imparting life skills to all privileged to come to us. Acquiring life skills is the basis of human excellence, excellence in all ramifications.

*Emotional Pain is not a Sickness*

Emotional Pain has gotten a bad name. This type of slander is undeserved. There is nothing wrong with feeling bad when situation calls for it. *It's okay to feel miserable, depressed,sad, upset, angry, dejected,gloomy or unhappy*.

It might be pleasant to feel bad, because it can be good for you. When situation calls, it's appropriate to feel bad.
✍️
When you leave a place you love, sadness is natural. When you lose a friend or lover,misery might be in order.When someone treats you badly, it's appropriate to feel angry.

Except in the case of su***de contemplation, it's almost impossible to feel too bad for a long time. Feeling bad for a long time can be a problem. If depression, sadness or anger persists for long, get external help. Otherwise, allow yourself to experience these emotions, for you too are human. They're usually in order and necessary for your personal health and growth.

When loved one dies, it's necessary to grieve. The grief may appear in the form of depression, sadness,anger or withdrawal. There is nothing wrong with emotional Pain, it's natural and part of human experience.

When feeling bad becomes a problem, it's mainly because you didn't allow yourself to feel bad at the initial stage. Don't fight back the feeling, don't ignore it.

Allowing your self to feel bad might even help you become smart. Harvey Jackins,a psychotherapist believes that when people fully experience and release their emotions,they also remove blocks to their thinking and clear a path for profound personal insights.

*Don't Enter the Higher Institution, Without Passing Through The Field*

Before you can drive on the main road, you must have practised how to drive on the learning field. Else, you may sustain wounds or even die in the process. Hence, the main road is not a place to learn how to drive.

Now listen, the human brain is divided into: conscious and subconscious mind. The latter is like a default setting. From age 1-17 years, the child operates mostly from the subconscious mind. All he does at this period is mostly what the parents and teachers tell him to do. Questions are rarely asked by the child at this period because the conscious mind has not fully been activated.

The reason why most people become worse and more confused after graduating from the higher institution is because they got admission without having their conscious mind activated in the right environment. Yes, they have not discovered the actual bearing to their life.

Hence, when the child gets admission into the higher institution, for the first time in his life,he discovers a world filled with excessive freedom. Note,he has not experienced this kind of freedom all his life. No parents,no teacher is there to tell him what to do.

At this point, the higher institution environment becomes a metaphoric main road and guess what? You don't learn how to drive on the main road.

In his bid to manage the freedom,he is mostly deceived and derailed from his purpose of being in the school. Before you know what is happening,a once responsible child turns out irresponsible and this time,it is hard to convince him otherwise because the conscious mind is now activated in the wrong environment.

This is why most graduates are more confused, empty and lack drive to pursue a worthy cause after graduation. Some of them cannot create anything to get them engaged, neither can they work effectively work in any organization. Most of them carry deep wounds which the eyes do not see. The damage is deep and it is literally in perpetuity.

This critical gap that's causing these untold hardship in the youths, the parents and the nation is what we're taking care of at Living to Make Impact Foundation.

Once you pass through our mentorship program, you are like someone that is learning how to drive in the field, to avoid shivering and accident in the journey of your life.

*THE SUSPENSE OF THE FUTURE: DECODE IT*

Nothing triggers curiosity more than a movie that ends at a point actions are expected and then refers you to buy the season two of it in order to satisfy your curiosity. From the ongoing, we do anything possible to make sure we buy the season two in order to come out of our suspense here. Almost all is allergic to suspense. Nobody feels better to hear that the information that should be given to him is now withheld, pending on doing one thing or the other. Thus, everything possible is done to know that which suspense holds.

Thus, suspense helps us to listen more, do more and think more. And it makes life more adventurous. The realization that if we buy the season two of a movie, we will have access to the knowledge the season one held from us, makes us to maintain the condition, knowing full well that our thirst for knowledge shall be satisfied in the end.

Our lives are more like a movie, and our future holds many great things for us. We should be curious to know them just like we're in buying the Season two of the movie. We should be doing things with the consciousness that we want to know that which the future holds for us.

Joseph in the Bible was aware that his future holds more great things for him. Although he did not see them, yet he persisted in following the lay down principles of discipline and hardwork in buying the season two of his life's movies- to know what the future holds for him.

Know this, you have not seen your true *you* yet. Yeah! You have not really arrived as you think you are. *You are a bundle of suspense. You are still in the season one of your life.* You need to slot in the season two of your life's movies. Aren’t you tired of being known as a riff-raff? Aren’t you tired of presenting the same result every other year? Aren’t you tired of complaining? Stop it,okay? Those you are complaining to do not have the solution you are looking for. You have to decode the information your future has for you.

Many things are not known of you yet. This is why you need to improve daily.
In movies, you do not repeat in season two what you have shown in the season one, new actions are seen, otherwise it becomes valueless. Thus, it does not make sense if you still show the same achievement you made last year come next year. If there is nothing new you add to your life each day, each year, your future will not decode its suspense to you.

When Napoleon Hill stated that anything the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve, it means that we cannot conceive anything if we are not in the conception track. *Pregnancy must be before delivery. We cannot have what does not have the input of our efforts.*

Know this, nothing worthwhile comes accidentally. We have to desire to see the season two of our lives, before the future we want comes to us. It is the scripture that says "Draw closer to God and God will draw closer to you". In paraphrasing this I say: *draw closer to your future and your future will draw closer to you. *The lesser chases the greater. Your future is greater than you of today, chase it first for you are the lesser.*

There is much our future holds in suspense for us. Do you desire to know this? Are you determined to pay the price for seeing the season two of your life? And this is the hard truth: those who succeed in decoding the information future has for them have more interesting stories to tell, yes they command audience everywhere they go. They personify authority. The opposite is true also. *The suspense of the future: a treasure every meaningful life must work to decode.*

The primary aim of education is to make the individual think properly. He who doesn't think cannot be creative.

A car cannot run without roads. A train cannot move without railways.
An aeroplane cannot fly without air routes.

In the same vein,a man cannot think without thinking paths. Thinking is free but difficult. You cannot engage meaningfully in thinking if you don't have thinking paths.

*Nature Has Named All Patience*

There is a lot of misunderstanding about the word Patience. Most people believe so much that the name one answers or is given affects him or her in life.

Here's the big question: has it been objectively proven that the name a person answers determines how successful he will be or how much God will bless him? Does bearing a good name replace effort and hardwork on the part of the name-bearer? What name qualifies objectively as a good name?

The above questions should be satisfactorily answered before one can take a stand. People avoid giving names like *Patience* to their children because they believe that by giving her such a name,if success or any good thing wants to come to her,it will delay because her name is *Patience*. Does this make any sense to you? This is superstitious believe and self-sabotage.

Here's the shock, whether you are named: Success,Prosper, etc in order to avoid the so- called delay in getting success in life, I am here to announce to you that *nature has named all Patience*

Because of this,we all shall necessarily experience some delays (Patience) in the process of achieving our goal. I am telling you what is realistically obtainable.

Thus, for you to give birth, you must wait upto 9 months. For you to graduate, you must wait upto at least 5 years. For you to be free from your boss as a servant, you must serve at least for 5 years. If you must be a priest, you must wait for at least 12 years etc.

When we say *wait*, it means you must be putting in the necessary hardwork and efforts and commitment in anticipation of what you are waiting for. Without doing this, your waiting will bear no fruits in the end. *Thus,by waiting to achieve a particular cause,we are all exercising patience. The same thing we're trying to avoid.*

And this is how nature has named all Patience. Unfortunately most people are not aware that their first name is actually Patience, whether you bear it or not. Know this and remain calm. We write to direct the thoughts of humanity and re-introduce a new lense of perception in them

There is nothing in this life generally that doesn't require patience to achieve. Quote me anywhere and I will prove it.

In carrying the burden of vision, those who started with you,may stop along the way when the going gets tough.

Thus you face abandonment which you may not have envisaged before now.

The world is filled with average and mediocres- those who are unwilling to hold onto a vision they once cherished.
