The Federal Government has published the final list of successful candidates for the 2023 Federal Fire Service (FFS) recruitment exercise.

This was revealed in a statement by Ja’afaru Ahmed, Secretary to the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), on Saturday in Abuja.

Ahmed disclosed that the list of successful applicants has been uploaded to the Board’s portal. those who passed the previous recruitment stages to verify their status by visiting cdcfib. Career from Monday.

“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board wishes to inform candidates who applied for recruitment into the Federal Fire Service to visit the Board’s portal from Monday, December 9, 2024, to check their status in the final stage of the recruitment process and download their invitation letter,” the statement read.

He further instructed successful candidates to print their invitation letters directly from the portal.

Documentation exercise details
The statement highlighted that the final documentation exercise will occur at the Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau Conference Center, Nigerian Correctional Service National Headquarters, Abuja.

“The documentation exercise will begin at 10 a.m. daily from Monday till Dec. 21, 2024,” Ahmed said.

Candidates are required to appear in white tops and shorts and bring along both the originals and photocopies of their credentials.

“Applicants are expected to appear in white tops and shorts as well as come along with originals and photocopies of their credentials,” he said

Ahmed also emphasized the importance of adhering to the specific instructions provided on the invitation letters.

“Applicants are also to ensure that they appear on the date indicated on their invitation letter and follow the information contained therein strictly,” he stated.

Enhancing Livelihood: Hon. Ozigi Muhammed Tijani Empowers 300 Constituents in Sustainable Skills.

The ever blazing Honourable Member representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency, Hon. Tijani Ahmed Ozigi, has once again demonstrated his commitment to the welfare and and human capacity development of his constituents in a 2-day skill acquisition program.

The program, organized in collaboration with the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, focused on training participants in the production of detergents, cleaning soaps, and other essential cleaning chemicals.

The program was attended by market women, artisans, and students from across the 21 wards of the constituency. At the end of the program, each participant received a startup grant of N50,000 to help establish or support their own businesses.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Ozigi emphasized the importance of prioritizing knowledge over financial support, stating that "ideas come before money" in business planning. He encouraged participants to make the most of the opportunity and become active contributors to their success and the broader economy.

The Senior Legislative Assistant (SLA), Hon. Nuhu, who represented Hon. Ozigi at the event assured constituents that efforts are ongoing to reach as many people as possible. He advised beneficiaries to use their benefits wisely, noting that their success could inspire and empower others in the community.

"As a representative, I recognize the importance of white collar jobs, but securing that for everyone now is not feasible. To address this challenge, skill acquisition programs paired with startup capital as an alternative means of empowering my constituents become sacred. By providing these opportunities, I aim to enable individuals to secure meaningful employment thereby fostering a more sustainable future.

"My ultimate goal is that, by the end of my tenure, I will have contributed to the growth and development of leaders within my constituency, who will go on to make a positive impact at various levels. This vision is inspired by the remarkable achievements of my mentor, former Governor of Kogi State, H.E. Alhaji Yahaya Bello." He said

The participants expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Tijani Ahmed Ozigi for his tireless efforts to empower them and alleviate poverty in their community during this harsh economy. They commended the initiative, adding that he has equipped them with valuable skills to generate sustainable income and become self-sufficient. They prayed for his continuous growth and success.

Ageva-Onyioto Water Board Commissioning: A Success Story

We are delighted to announce the successful completion and commissioning of the Ageva-Onyioto Water Board renovation project, a remarkable achievement aimed at ensuring a clean and reliable water supply for the constituents of Ageva, Obehira Eba and its environ.

This transformative initiative was made possible through the office of the Honorable Member Representing Okene-Ogori/Magongo constituency, Hon. Ozigi Muhammed Tijani. This project is one of the many results of his unwavering commitment and dedication to public service and his vision for sustainable development goals (SDG)

Though unable to attend in person, Hon. Tijani was ably represented by his Personal Assistant, Mr. Michael Orahachi Godwin, alongside Hon. Aminco.

The team conveyed the good will message of the Honorable member to the people of Ageva community and commended Mr. Salihu Ozomata Haruna, the contractor and founder of the Ozomata Foundation of Nigeria for a job well done. As a token of his support, Salihu generously donated a brand new motorcycle to the Waterboard in other to ensure efficient mobility for the smooth operation and safeguarding of the facility by the facility managers.

This project stands as a testament to what can only be achieved through visionary leadership and collaborative effort. Hon. Ozigi Muhammed Tijani remains focused on impactful, people-centred development as he continues to inspire and uplift the community, bringing tangible improvements to daily life.
