In line with our commitment to community service and giving back to society, Egbe Gbobaniyi Okunrin Oredegbe Akile Ijebu has successfully completed the installation of 15 solar-powered streetlights at Ita-Alẹ Market, Ijebu Ode.
This initiative was born out of a request from the market leadership, who expressed concerns about frequent cases of phone snatching and petty robbery in the market at night due to poor lighting. Responding to their call, our Egbe took it upon ourselves to make a lasting impact — by turning darkness into light! 💡
Today, the Ita-Alẹ night market now shines bright, bringing safety, renewed confidence, and vibrancy to traders and visitors alike. The project was officially commissioned to the admiration of the market executives and the entire community, who showered prayers and appreciation upon our Egbe and all Regberegbes in Akile Ijebu for this thoughtful gesture.
