THE COST OF EDUCATING A BOY AND NOT A GIRL

When a boy is educated, an individual is empowered.

When a girl is educated, a family is strengthened, a community is transformed, and future generations are uplifted.

Yet, millions of girls around the world still face barriers to education due to poverty, cultural norms, discrimination, early marriage, and limited opportunities.

Denying a girl education does not only affect her future it affects the social and economic development of entire communities.

BAD NUTRITION SILENTLY DESTROYS YOUNG LIVES.

Not every illness begins in a hospital. Some begin with poor nutrition.
Many children and young people today suffer from the effects of unhealthy eating, lack of balanced meals, and poor food quality without realizing the long-term danger.

Bad nutrition can cause:
🚫 Weak immune systems
🚫 Poor brain development
🚫 Constant tiredness
🚫 Increased risk of diseases
🚫 Emotional and physical weakness

Children and youths need nutritious food to grow, think clearly, stay active, and live healthy lives.

Bright Stars Global Initiative joins the global call for safer food, healthier lives, and stronger communities.

1 in 9 people fall ill yearly from contaminated food.

Kids under 5 carry 1/3 of that health burden.

Here are 5 simple habits from WHO to stay safe:

✅ Wash hands before handling food
✅ Cook meat, poultry & seafood thoroughly
✅ Wash fruits + vegetables before eating
✅ Keep hot foods hot, cold foods cold
✅ Stop cross-contamination: raw ≠ cooked

Safe food today = healthy future tomorrow. It starts with simple habits.
