FOUR FINALISTS EMERGE IN THE 4TH EDITION OF THE NNOBI SECONDARY SCHOOLS MATHEMATICS QUIZ COMPETITION

Four schools have qualified for the finals of the 4th Edition of the Sir Pius Ufudo Foundation’s Nnobi Secondary Schools Mathematics Quiz Competition.

At the first round of the competition held on Saturday, 9 May 2026, the ten secondary schools in Nnobi were divided into two groups of five schools each.

Seat of Wisdom Comprehensive School and Community Secondary School qualified from Group 1, ahead of Our Lady’s Secondary School, Christ the King Seminary School, and Glory of God Secondary School.

Group 2 produced a dramatic contest as Hand of God International School, Madonna International Academy, and Zion Secondary School each finished with 70 points, resulting in a three-way tie. Following a tense tie-breaker contest, Hand of God International School and Zion Secondary School emerged as the qualifiers, narrowly edging out Madonna International Academy.

The Foundation congratulates all participating schools for their outstanding performance and looks forward to the grand finale on Saturday, 16 May 2026, when the four finalists will compete for the championship title and a chance to win ₦1 million and computers.

The Sir Pius Ufudo Foundation is excited to announce the 2026 edition of the Nnobi Secondary Schools Mathematics Quiz Competition, as we continue our commitment to advancing quality education and academic excellence among students in Nnobi.

This initiative reflects our enduring dedication to nurturing young minds, strengthening analytical capacity, and creating meaningful opportunities for students to thrive through education.

• Winning School: ₦1,000,000 cash prize + laptops
