Progress Report on the City of Refuge Baptist Church project (CORBCA). We are thrilled to announce that the Lord has provided the funding required for the church's roofing, marking a substantial step forward. This will not only foster fellowship among our converts but also facilitate evangelistic efforts to reach out to our neighbors with the Gospel of Christ.

We are thankful to Missionary Daniel Lang and all contributors for their financial assistance and prayers. As we embark on the next phase of construction, which includes plastering, electrical work, flooring, and tiling, we humbly request continued prayers and donations.

City of Refuge Takes the Gospel of Christ to the Miyawa People in Northern Bauchi State, Nigeria

The Miyawa are an ethnic group residing in Ganjuwa and Misau Local Government Areas of Northern Bauchi State. They speak both Miya and Hausa languages.

Predominantly Muslim and traditionalist in belief, the Miyawa have only a few known Christians among them. They are primarily rural farmers, with limited access to western education.

Despite these challenges, the Miyawa are known to be very hospitable and receptive to the Gospel. We thank God for the few individuals who accepted Christ yesterday.

Please continue to pray for them and for the entire Miyawa people — that many more would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF BENUE STATE.

The Board of Trustees, Management, and entire team of the African City of Refuge and Empowerment Foundation, Abuja, extend our deepest condolences to the Government and people of Benue State over the tragic massacre of over 100 innocent individuals in Yelewata, Guma Local Government Area.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and communities who have lost loved ones, and we stand in solidarity with them during this time of immense grief.

We call on all relevant authorities to ensure that justice is served and that every effort is made to prevent the recurrence of such inhumane atrocities. The sanctity of human life must be upheld, and communities must be protected.

May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace, and may peace and healing find their way back to Yelewata and all of Benue State.
