COURTESY VISIT TO THE PALACE OF MODAKEKE

The executive members of the NYCN Ife East Area Office, led by the Coordinator, Com. Badmos Mustapha Adewumi, paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of Modakeke ahead of the forthcoming Akoraye Day celebration.

During the visit, we informed the palace authority that NYCN Ife East Area Office is fully back on its feet in the Local Government and ready to collaborate on any community development project or programme.

In his warm and fatherly response, Oba Joseph Olubiyi Toriola (Ajibise Ogo I, Ogunsua of Modakeke) prayed extensively for us and took us down memory lane—sharing how he began his own journey with little support, relating it to our current youthful stage. He encouraged us to stay focused, work hard, and make good use of our strength while we have it. He warned us against bad associations and shortcuts in life, urging us to pursue success with integrity.

Kabiyesi paused and said he could see greatness and potential in us, encouraging us to work diligently towards achieving it. He further advised us to always contribute to the progress of our land so that God may bless the works of our hands.

It was truly an inspiring and impactful visit.

The executive members of the NYCN Ife East Area Office, led by the Coordinator, Com Badmos Mustapha Adewumi, paid a courtesy visit to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) at the Oke Otubu Police Station, Modakeke.

During the visit, we formally introduced ourselves and assured the DPO of our commitment to work closely with the Nigeria Police Force for the growth, safety, and development of the youths in our community. We emphasized that the council is always available to support community initiatives and collaborate whenever needed.

In response, the DPO congratulated us on our emergence, reminding us that every great journey begins with a step and that we are destined for greater heights. He further pledged, on behalf of himself and the entire police division, that the station’s doors are always open to us and that they are ready to respond anytime we call on them.

We appreciate the warm reception and look forward to a strong, productive partnership for the progress of Ife East Area Office.
