Visit to Bago Foundation by Sinking Grassroots Mobilization (SGM)

The Sinking Grassroots Mobilization (SGM) team, led by Chairman Barr. Ibrahim Garkuwa and comprising other pioneer executive members, paid a courtesy visit to the Bago Foundation on May 14, 2024. The visit aimed to foster synergy and collaboration between the two organizations, working towards a common goal.

During the visit, the Bago Foundation leadership was impressed by SGM's initiatives and commitment to grassroots programs. Both parties explored potential areas of cooperation, sharing expertise and resources to amplify their impact.

This visit marks a significant step towards building a strategic partnership, driving collective progress and positive change in the community.

SINKING GRASSROOTS MOBILIZATION

"Approximately 80 pupils and students benefited from the generous support of Sinking Grassroots Mobilization (SGM) on September 24, 2024. visited three schools in Chanchaga LG, Minna, Niger State:

- IBB Primary School
- School of Handicap
- Zakka Primary School

Led by Hon. Aminu Isah Dan'asabe, Director General of Youths Affairs, Niger State, the visit impressed school heads. The DG praised SGM's efforts, emphasizing that individual and private sector support is crucial since government alone cannot provide everything. Barr. Ibrahim Garkuwa, SGM Chairman, thanked Hon. Aminu for his backing.

SINKING GRASSROOTS MOBILIZATION (SGM)

September 4th, 2024 at exactly 200pm prompt, the pioneers of Sinking Grassroots Mobilization *(SGM)* held a meeting with the Director General of Youth Affairs in Niger State to officially launch Sinking Grassroots Mobilization in line with its functions and the ex*****on of SGM Phase 1a and 1b projects, respectively.

The Director General, Aminu Isah Dan'asabe, popularly known as Sinking, along with his Chief Protocol, signed their letters of appointment from SGM. The printed document below contains the appointment and the accepted acknowledgment. The Director General of Youth Affairs in Niger State was appointed as the Grand Patron of Sinking Grassroots Mobilization, while his Chief Protocol was appointed as an Amicus of the association .

In his response, the DG advised the pioneers of *SGM* to demonstrate diligence and commitment in this crucial assignment, and he pledged his support for every *SGM* project, both in kind and in cash.

The extreme efforts and hard work of Sinking Grassroots Mobilization (SGM) include::

a) Assisting people with fewer privileges, such as orphans, among others.
b) Paying levies for pupils/students in public schools around Minna.
c) Distributing free patient treatment record cards to primary health care centers.

The Director General of Youth Affairs, Alh. Aminu Sinking, has praised the efforts and contributions of *SGM,* stating that these initiatives are part of the commitment of the current administration led by His Excellency Alh. Umar Muhammad Bago, the Farmer Governor of Niger State.

Additionally, the Director General of Youth Affairs promised to provide his utmost support to *SGM* and to be present with them at all times. May Almighty God bless the Director General of Youth Affairs Niger State, Alh. Aminu Isah Dan’asabe, known as Sinking, and the administration of Alh. Muhammad Umar Bago, the Farmer Governor. Ameen.
