TODAY WE REMEMBER OUR FALLEN HEROES

On this Armed Forces Remembrance Day, we honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation.

We particularly remember Late Isyaku Ma'aji, a courageous soldier from our community who lost his life in the battle against insurgency in Maiduguri.

To his family, especially his elder brother, Mallam Yakubu Ma'aji, our former Medical Director, we offer our deepest condolences. May Allah grant you strength and comfort in your time of grief.

May the soul of Late Isyaku Ma'aji rest in eternal peace, and may his bravery and sacrifice never be forgotten.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear Dagacin Legbe, Alhaji Yakubu Abdullahi Dada. His leadership, wisdom, and dedication to the well-being of his people will forever be remembered.

May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and provide strength and patience to his family, friends, and the entire community during this difficult time.

As part of my late-hour official duties as the substantive transition committee secretary of the Maikunkele Youth Development Association (MYDA), I have leveraged my new position as the pioneer faculty member and consultant of computing at Fulbright College of Medical Science and Health Technology, located here in Maikunkele, to secure 20 scholarship slots for the younger generation of the community.

Twenty students will be admitted on scholarship with a 40% waiver on the total entrance fee to study any one of the following courses: Health Information Management, Community Health, Environmental Health, Medical Laboratory Technology, Public Health, Health Education and Promotion, or Pharmacy Technology.
