REMINDER ON THE DEPLORABLE STATE OF DUTSEN KURA-KWALKOTA ROAD.
One of the poorest road you can plight in Minna presently is from Dusten kuran Gwari down to Kwalkota. The road is hugely unmotorable and in a very despicable state. The road has suffered so much neglect that residents can no longer park their vehicles in their houses. Even Okada riders dodge picking passengers through that road. That road is seriously begging for attention that we can not be tired of voicing out. As densely populated as that area, you'll wonder if our VOTES is of any consideration.
I wish there will come a reason for the governor to ride through that road just to understand the hardship people pass through on a daily basis. Cars and motorcycles stuck in their every day. Couple with haphazard erosion eating up the surroundings. More troubling now, even feeder roads that serve alternative means have now deteriorated to their worst versions!
Yes, they kept telling us, the governor said it will be captured in next phase projects (meaning next administration) but at least, a surface grading of that road would have given us a sense of belonging and reduce the turmoil people pass through!
