Most of the things I hated about myself as a child were not the things I observed personally.
I learnt about my speech default from people I believed I can trust.
People told me I was ugly.
As a child I'd rather believe them than my mother.

Our level of education should not create fear, conflict and hatred in our society.

We need to learn to speak love and spread love.
Perfection is not a one way road.

The new year 2024 has come with a bundle of hope and joy for every child irrespective of their placements and cultural beliefs.

A lot of children are being denied of their rights.

Talking about Nigeria
She has 36 States
24 states has adopted the Child's Rights Law/Act
12 States are yet to implement it

Where is our Equal Right For every Child

NHRC Child's Right Act (2003) is the law that guarantees the rights of all children in Nigeria. So far 24 out of 36 states of Nigeria have adopted the CRA as a state law. Children and people with special needs are a member of our society and they need to be included.
The only provision I have seen for them is no place. Our society has shown them the back door.
The ones that try to get something good in life get cheated. Influential people use them to gather wealth for themselves all in the name of helping them live a comfortable life.
If we are helping them as children,
Do they have a future in our community?

THE BABY GIRL IS AS IMPORTANT AS THE BABY BOY

Non-formal Education is as important as Informal Education.
Women that are still submissive to the Archaic primitive mentality of worshipping the boy child and Lord him over the female children should wake up to the reality that
"THE BABY GIRL IS AS IMPORTANT AS THE BABY BOY"
Boys should be taught from the home on how to be responsible. Showing up your fistful 👊 power does not increase your manhood. It only makes you less Human.
An average African child knows she will be a mother from childhood.
Is the boy child receiving such education?
The answer is No
The girls is taught to endure hardship and toxic relationship while some girls choose to remain when they have opportunity to say NO.

Every Child is entitled to quality education
We are no longer where we used to be
We are builders and everyone have a part to play
Knowledge is light
Education is the power
