WE WANT POWER!!! WE NEED POWER!!! WE WANT ELECTRICITY!!! GIVE US LIGHT!!!

Dear Niger State Government and the Government of the Federation,

It is now almost a year or more since the people of Gbeganu B Anguwan Zakka Community witnessed the flow of electricity supply in the area.

Your Excellency, Farmer Umaru Mohammed Bago, Farmer Governor and the Executive Governor of Niger State,

It is the Glorious Month of Ramadan and the people of Gbeganu B Anguwan Zakka Community have been observing their fast with neither Electricity Supply nor Good Water.

Your Excellency, It is at the core topmost priority of your government and the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration to provide and ensure steady and uninterrupted supply of electric power to the People.

Your Excellency, there is no better time in which the people are in much more necessary need for Electricity and Good Water Supplies than Now!!!

Your Excellency, we the People of Gbeganu B (Anguwan Zakka) Community use this medium, calling on you to use your very good office to fulfill the yearnings and aspirations of your government and the People of the Community.

Your Excellency, It does not require a stretch of the imagination to understand the plights of a people observing their fast in what looks like a dungeon and lacking the basic amenities to cater for their needs.

Your Excellency, we commend the efforts of your administration and we trust in your responsible leadership role to provide the people of Gbeganu B Anguwan Zakka Community with an Electric Transformer and Water Supply Systems.

SECURITY ALERT ‼ CALL FOR SECURITY INTERVENTION ‼
This is to inform relevant authorities that some miscreants (area boys) are causing youth strife between themselves in Gbeganu Area. For the past one week, series of violent attacks have been launched several times between 9:00PM or so thereafter as the area boys take to the street, unleashing mayhem. The boys from Gbeganu Mai Anguwa's axis usually meets their rivals along Block Industry way, armed with dangerous weapons, issuing threats and causing assaults. Innocent citizens usually scamper for safety in those hours leaving the two rival gangs having bloodshot serious knifefights.
Innocent people live in fear of these violent gangs.
Just yesterday, there have been fights for hours, and a pledge by the violent groups to continue the violent fights nonstop. Thefts, injuries to lives and destruction of properties are the recurring consequences that following the restiveness attacks.

We hereby use this medium to call the attention of all authorities to come in and act swiftly and appropriate as innocent people are under life-threats by the violent and illegal operations of the miscreants.

💣 In GBEGANU Community. Yesternight at about 11 to 12 PM, the sounds GUNSHOTS were heard with SLUGS FIRED terribly. Minutes after, a very BIG EXPLOSION—BOOM! 💥
An anonymous source said:
“This is the house of a suspected bandit/kidnapper. Yesterday's midnight we heard shots exchanged between security personnels and the suspect rampageously. The suspected man escaped but his entire family were apprehended and the house was torched and destroyed. ”
