Today marks the beginning of Building the Bridge from AI Engineering,

A 6-week journey focused on helping aspiring AI engineers and developers build a stronger understanding of AI engineering, from foundations and LLMs to AI agents, production-grade systems, system design, and architecture.

We are excited to have our ecosystem and talent partners supporting this journey:

Droom Work
Starnet Tech
Labspace Nigeria
Techrity

To everyone joining Cohort 2, welcome. It is time to learn, build, and put your knowledge into practice.

Follow along as we document the cohort and the work happening over the next 6 weeks.

Today at Labspace, we officially flagged off Cohort 2 of the iDice Founders Lab Programme with a physical onboarding session for five promising founders who are building at the intersection of innovation and real-world challenges.

We are particularly excited about this cohort because of the gender representation and the diversity of solutions they are bringing to the table:

🌱 Fadekemi Haruna — EcoDry Ltd
⚡ Muhammad Abdulraheem — Autanmama Renewable Energy
🚚 Hauwa Yahaya — Topmost Relay
🌾 Ishaq Ishaq — CropCycle
🌱 Zainab Ishaq — Farm Guard Technologies

Collectively, the cohort represents three Agritech ventures, one Energy venture and one Logistics venture.

Beyond the sectors, what stands out is the problems these founders have chosen to tackle—agricultural waste and productivity, food security, clean energy, logistics, and smarter solutions for farmers and communities.

And this is exactly why programmes like the iDice Founders Lab matter.

Founders don't only need funding. They need the right environment to validate their ideas, sharpen their business models, access mentors, build meaningful networks, test assumptions and ultimately become better entrepreneurs.

Over the next 12 weeks, these five founders will journey through an intensive period of learning, mentorship, experimentation, ecosystem engagement and venture building.

We are not just onboarding founders.
We are investing in ideas.
We are strengthening ventures.
We are building an ecosystem.
And we are contributing to a brighter Niger through innovation.

Now, let's get down to building...

And Yeah... our 4-week 2026 Summer Tech Camp comes to an end!

For us, it was never just about keeping the children busy during the holidays. It was about giving them a space to learn, explore, create, collaborate and have fun while discovering what they are capable of.

From building with Python Programming, learning Robotics, developing ideas and pitching them, to the games, laughter and friendships made along the way—every session was designed to make technology feel exciting, practical and achievable.

To every parent who trusted us with their children, thank you. Your support made this experience possible.

We are proud of what they explored, the confidence they built, and the possibilities they now see for themselves.

The future isn't just tech-ready. It is child-ready. And we are excited to be raising children who are ready to build it.

Today is about the Tech sis in Niger State.
It was an engaging Thursday, spending quality time sharing thoughts, exchanging strategies, having meaningful conversations, and awakening the tech spirit in the sisters of NSITDEA.

AI took center stage as we explored practical AI tools, with hands-on sessions that demonstrated just how powerful and transformative AI can be.

Platforms like this are where great stories begin, audacious goals are set, and ideas are nurtured to create measurable impact in the tech ecosystem.

Action ladies! The world is waiting for the Tech Sis to take over...

Shaping the Future of Digital Governance in Niger State...

Great things are happening in the Niger State tech and Digital Economy Ecosystem!

The Programs/Hub Manager at Labspace was honored to participate in the Niger State Digital Policy, Regulatory and Institutional Reform Stakeholders Engagement Forum.

Convened in Collaboration from UK International Development and the Initiative for Digital Inclusion (IDI), this landmark forum brought together key ecosystem stakeholders to collaborate on the policies and institutional frameworks that will drive our state’s digital transformation forward.

For us at Labspace, being part of these foundational discussions is crucial. Building a sustainable, thriving ecosystem for tech entrepreneurs, innovators, and digital talents in Northern Nigeria requires intentional alignment between ecosystem builders, innovators, and policymakers.

Excited about the pathways this opens up for startup growth, digital inclusion, and policy-backed innovation in Niger State! The future is digital, and we are proud to be building it right here from the ground up. 💡🇳🇬

NEW PARTNERSHIP. BIGGER OPPORTUNITY FOR AI ENGINEERS.

Mastering Backend is excited to welcome Labspace Nigeria as a new ecosystem partner.

Labspace Nigeria is joining us in supporting access to AI engineering education, innovation, and capacity development across Africa.

Why does this matter?

Because building strong AI talent requires more than watching tutorials.

It requires access to practical education, communities, partnerships, and opportunities that help people keep learning and building.

That is the direction behind our upcoming Building the Bridge from AI Engineering Bootcamp, Cohort 2.

6 weeks of live training.
Real projects.
Practical AI engineering.
Starts September 7, 2026.

And there are two ways to get started:

1. FREE Pre-Bootcamp Workshop

Get introduced to the ideas behind AI engineering before the main training begins.

2. ₦27M Scholarship Opportunity

200 scholarship spots are available for people who want to join the bootcamp.

The regular access price is ₦15,000.
