OUTCOMES FROM THE TINK-TANK MEETING HELD IN ALIADE ON THE 11TH DAY OF JANUARY 2026

1. There shall be a JAOSA New Year Dinner in ALIADE slated to hold as follows:
Date: 31st January, 2026
Venue: Poll Side, Benysta Hotel Aliade
Time: 4:pm till dawn

All JAOSAites are to note:
- There shall be a joint meeting between the CPC for the JAOSA Mini Launching and the Congress

- JAOSAites are not task for the event, except accommodation while food and drinks shall be taking care of by the EXCO and other concerned JAOSAites.

- All JAOSAites are urge to attend the important gathering unfailingly

- The JAOSA National Executive Council shall hold an interactive meeting with the Proprietor, PTA, SBMC and the management of JAMSS Mase on the same day 31 January 2026 by 10am. The essence of the meeting is to find ways of supporting and improving the school.

I got married at age 25. I was an undergraduate then. Some said I was too young; but I got married because It was my time.

I had nothing. It was tough for years. Waited for four years to get a good job. It happened at my time.

A cousin of mine while I was in 100L finished from Bowen university age 22. It was his time.

He traveled to the UK age 23 and got a job. His annual remuneration as at then was 13,744,000 converted to naira. He completed his first house here in Nigeria age 27. It was his time.

We both celebrated the same age this year, same month, same day.

He isn't married yet. It is not his time.
I've never bought a block, let alone build a house. It's also not my time.

Why did I share?

So many feel bad when they see other people's life achievements.
They get worried as they see themselves as failure and unfortunate. But they don’t understand that time is a major factor in life.

When it is your time, your hard work would be rewarded. Things will fall in place and then you will achieve a whole lot bigger than your dreams and age.

They will all come easily and only then you'll understand the "The time of life".

If others get to have what you don't have; know it that, it is their time having. Yours too will come.

If you have what others don't have. It's only your time to have achieve those things too. Undoubtedly, their own time will come likewise.

What is that thing getting you so worried that you are yet to achieve that others already have?

Dear, Relax. Your time will come.

INVITATION TO JAOSA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Jato Anchever Old Students Association(JAOSA) National Secretariat wishes to invite all Sets and their members to the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The AGM is slated to hold as follows:
Date: 28th December, 2025
Time:11:00am
Venue: Multi-Purpose Hall, JAMSS Mase

NEC urges Sets and their members to:
- Attend the AGM unfailingly
- Make voluntary contributions (money and non monetary eg, food items and drinks) to enable us host the AGM successfully.
- Invite more JAOSITES who are not on our social media platforms to be a part of the AGM.

The JAOSA Family!

United we stand, divided we fall, says a popular adage.

The above adage is a statement of fact that implies directly to our daily living in groups and the importance thereof.

The JAOSA family has further shown clearly that, this is workable and achievable.

From planning to implementation of the 2nd National Convention, massive resources were mobilized, giving the event the absolute taste and color it deserves.

The wedding between Nancy & Jude ( National Vice President) also showed our commitment to the JAOSA project. The National Executive Council heartily appreciate those who contributed, find time to attend and grace the occasion. To JAOSITES in Aliade town, Hon. Terna Iorapinen ( Commissioner for Enjoyment) and Ortwer Iorzua, the JAOSA family appreciate your immensed hospitality.

Thanks all for the show of love and support to our members.

Going forward, let's be reminded of our first national project, the principal's office as well as the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
slated for 28th December, 2025.

These are activities that will continue to bind us in unity.

NEC is sincerely appealing for continuous support to achieve these.
