Over the past weeks, while our platforms have been quiet, we have been actively working behind the scenes — engaging in consultations, refining our structure, and aligning YEMI with standard development practices.

We have taken time to: Strengthen our organizational profile

• Begin building policies and systems that ensure accountability and long-term impact
• Reposition YEMI for greater effectiveness and sustainability

Building Leaders Who Will Raise More Leaders

We are proud to share that the Coordinator of Youth Empowerment & Mentorship Initiative (YEMI) has successfully completed and earned certification in the Leadership Development Course 22.0 titled “Developing the Leaders Around You.” By John C. Maxwell, brought to you by Arc Nguvan Godeymysyd Kyenge lead coach Mindset series

This milestone represents more than personal growth, it reflects YEMI’s commitment to continuous learning, structure, and intentional leadership development.

During the panel discussion, YEMI was highlighted, and a powerful insight emerged:
male mentorship is one of the next critical areas of impact in our society.

This aligns deeply with our mission.
At YEMI, we are committed to raising a generation of young people, especially boys, who are guided, responsible and purpose-driven, while continuing to support girls in leadership and growth.

We are not just mentoring for today.

Raising Girls Who Will Lead Tomorrow

Today, as the world celebrates International Women's Day, Youth Empowerment & Mentorship Initiative (YEMI) proudly recognizes the strength, brilliance and potential of girls everywhere.

Every girl carries within her the ability to lead, to innovate, to nurture change, and to shape the future of her community. But leadership does not grow by chance, it grows through guidance, mentorship, opportunity and belief.

At YEMI, we are committed to creating spaces where girls are encouraged to:
1.discover their voice
2. build confidence
3. develop leadership skills
4. dream boldly about their future
When girls are mentored and supported, they grow into women who lead with courage, compassion and vision.

Today, we celebrate the girls who are learning, rising, and preparing to become tomorrow’s leaders.
