We are celebrating everybody out there and encouraging them to take on the path of positive masculinity and leave the myths and false saying about who a boy is supposed to be
You are entitled to your feelings and you have the right to express them
Being soft is not weakness
Society has its expectations
But don't let that despise who you are
Happy International Day of the Boy Child
INTERNATIONAL BOY’S DAY
On this International Boy’s Day, Glorious Teens Ministry recognizes boys and young men as key contributors to a peaceful, just, and progressive society. Today is a reminder that the values we nurture in boys will shape the men, families, and communities of the future.
We emphasize the importance of positive masculinity, which promotes healthy identity, responsibility, and respect for others.
Positive Masculinity includes:
1. Strength of character and integrity
2. Respect for self and others
3. Accountability and responsibility
4. Empathy, compassion, and service
5. Purpose-driven leadership
In contrast, negative masculinity is often expressed through harmful social expectations that pressure boys into:
1. Aggression as a sign of strength
2. Emotional suppression and silence
3. Disrespect or dominance over others
4. Irresponsibility and avoidance of accountability
5. Risk-taking behaviors that harm self and others
At Glorious Teens Ministry, we affirm that true strength is not found in dominance or control, but in discipline, respect, and the ability to uplift others. Boys need intentional mentorship, supportive environments, and opportunities that help them grow into responsible and value-driven men.
We call on families, schools, communities, and faith leaders to work together in guiding boys toward constructive identity formation and responsible citizenship.
“Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12
