World Environment Day 2026
Our Land. Our Future. Our Responsibility.

Prime youths and women empowerment initiative PYWEI joins millions of people around the world in commemorating World Environment Day, a global call to protect and restore the environment for present and future generations.

As an organization committed to youth and women empowerment, we recognize that environmental sustainability is deeply connected to community development, public health, economic growth, and social justice.

Climate change, deforestation, pollution, land degradation, and poor waste management continue to threaten vulnerable communities, especially women, children, and young people.
On this World Environment Day, we reaffirm our commitment to:

✅ Promoting environmental awareness and climate education.
✅ Supporting community-led environmental initiatives.
✅ Encouraging tree planting and ecosystem restoration.
✅ Advocating for sustainable waste management practices.
✅ Empowering young people and women to become environmental champions in their communities.

We call on governments, development partners, civil society organizations, community leaders, and citizens to work together in building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
Every action counts. Every tree planted matters. Every voice raised for the environment creates impact.

Together, let us protect our planet and leave a legacy of sustainability for generations to come.

GROOM A BOY TODAY

Today, we commemorate International Day of the Boy Child 2026, Prime youths and women empowerment initiative PYWEI joins the global community in recognizing the importance of intentionally raising boys who are emotionally healthy, socially responsible, and respectful of others.

At , while we remain deeply committed to advancing the rights of women and girls, ending Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), and amplifying the voices of adolescent girls, we also understand an important truth: preventing violence begins with how we raise boys.

This year’s theme:Positive Male Role Models"Inspiring Boys for a Better Tomorrow"is a strong reminder that boys need safe spaces, healthy mentorship, positive values, and intentional guidance to grow into men who champion equality, reject violence, and contribute meaningfully to society.

Too often, conversations around Gender-Based Violence focus only on responding to harm after it happens. But true prevention requires addressing the root causes early. This means teaching boys emotional intelligence, consent, empathy, accountability, respect for boundaries, and healthy masculinity.

When boys are taught that strength is not aggression, leadership is not domination, and masculinity is not violence, we build communities where girls and women are safer, families are healthier, and societies are more peaceful.

At , we believe that investing in boys is not separate from empowering girls,it is a complementary strategy for long-term social transformation. Grooming healthy boys mentally, socially, and emotionally is one of the most sustainable pathways toward ending cycles of abuse, violence, and inequality.

Our commitment remains clear:
✅ Preventing Sexual and Gender-Based Violence through early education and community engagements.
✅ Promoting positive masculinity and healthy gender norms.
✅ Supporting child protection, adolescent wellbeing, and inclusive development.
✅ Building a generation of boys and girls equipped to thrive together.

On this International Day of the Boy Child, let us raise boys who are kind, confident, emotionally aware, and committed to building a more just world.
Because when we empower a boy, we don’t just shape a man,we help shape safer communities and a better future for all.
