A right step taken in the right direction, congratulations team,we just came out of our first due diligence assessment (DDA) with Fos Ferminista organization on the 7th of October,2024,at Benue Metropolitan hotel in Makurdi, Benue State. It can only get better as it is God's own project.

Knowledge about menstruation and menstrual hygiene is critical to the dignity and well-being of girls and women in general. Regardless of culture, age, and marital status, adolescents need basic, accurate and complete information as regards their body structure and functions, as well as other sexual and reproductive health issues.

It is against the backdrop that GLOGSADI has embarked on a sensitization campaign in some selected female schools around Makurdi Metropolis on Menstrual hygiene Dignity MHD to provide adequate knowledge on the best hygienic practices during menstruation as it impact on multiple areas such as health, education, gender equality,etc

Schools visited includes: Government Model college,Calm Wisdom college Adeke and Union Valley in Kashio.
This ended with a distribution of 650 sanitary pads to the girls.

From our archive, in October 2023, to be precise,11th, October,GLOGSADI carried out a sensitization on menstrual hygiene and the use of reusable sanitary pads young girls in two schools in Makurdi. Namely, Government Girls College and Capital College. It ended with a distribution of over 800 sanitary pads to the young girls. , , , , , , ,
