She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the Benue State University, Makurdi (2002) and a Master of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from the same university (2006).

She has attended several trainings in relation to Corporate Governance, Code of Conduct, Anti-Money Laundering, and other relevant areas in the banking sector.

With over eighteen years of experience in the banking sector, Mrs. Goja has a rich pedigree in excellent Customer Service Delivery and good Corporate Governance. She has earned awards for being the best customer service manager three times.

Meet Mr. Jerry Aondokumachian Kwaghna

Mr Jerry Kwaghna , the CEO of Kwanzi FARMS Is a seasoned agronomist and leader with a passion for contributing to the agricultural sector. With a strong educational background in Crop and Environmental Protection and Agribusiness Management, he possesses the skills and expertise required for top level management in the agricultural sector which he has since deployed, a fit that has made Kwanzi farms a household name.

Mr Jerry has worked extensively in the agricultural sector, holding various positions, including Enumerator for the Green Innovation Centre for the Agriculture and Food Sector Nigeria (GIAE-EU/BMZ), Trainer/ Extension Agent on sustainable rice production with GIZ, Field Agent for NICERT Expert Consulting Ltd., Field Agronomist for the FMN WATIH-YALWA Project and a Senior Technical Expert at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

With his high level of expertise, Mr is Jerry a practical farmer who has also worked and consulted for Universal Treasures Mines Limited and Coscharis Farm Limited. He is not just a producer of rice but also the processor of Kwanzi Rice.

Mr Jerry who was awarded the Rising Star Farmer of the Year award in 2021 is an active member of various organizations, including Proactive Farmers’ Cooperative Society Limited, Young Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (YEN), Association of Crop and Environmental Protection, Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN), and Young Professionals for Agricultural Development (YPARD).

He has attended several training programs, including Sustainable Rice Production, AKILIMO Training of Trainers (ToT), and Youth Innovative Entrepreneurship Development Program (YIEDP), Food Safety Measures with the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) And those for GIZ and usaid

Mr Jerry has published a research on the impact and constraints of rice value chain development on small-holder rice farmers in Guma LGA, Benue State.

Meet Hon. Ochanya Okoh

Ochanya Okoh is a highly accomplished agricultural expert and policy advisor. She serves as the Technical Adviser to the Governor of Benue State Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia on Agriculture, driving strategic initiatives to enhance agricultural development and food security.

A first-class graduate in Agriculture from Ahmadu Bello University, Ochanya brings a strong academic foundation and extensive experience in agricultural policy, research, evaluation and development to her role.

Her expertise spans agricultural value chain development, project management, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record of delivering impactful projects and programs. She is dedicated to shaping Benue's agricultural landscape.

Additionally, Ochanya is a Kashim Ibrahim fellow, a MasterCard Foundation Young Impact Associate alumnus, and an alumnus of the US Department of State-sponsored Youth Exchange and Study Program.

Meet Rev Fr Ukeyima Solomon Mfa

Revd. Fr. Mfa Tivdoo ordained a Catholic priest of the old Makurdi diocese on 14th August, 2004, is a humanitarian par-excellence, convener of the KSS festival and a farmer.

Fr. Solomon Mfa has served in various capacities in the church ranging from Assistant Parish Priest, Parish Priest, Chaplains of many societies in the church and Dean of Ikpayongu Deanery

Beyond his priestly calling and work, Revd. Fr. Solomon Mfa is a lover of community building and a promoter of unity, peaceful coexistence and social cohesion. He dearly holds a philosophy that “Life should also be a WINDOW through which you see the face of others and not just a MIRROR through which you see only your face.”

Driven by his philosophy, Fr. Solomon believes that evangelization should include but go beyond the pulpit. This he captures in his famous quote: “When Church services are over, our services must begin. If the Church members rest, the Church rusts.”

Ensuring that the word of God goes beyond the pulpit, Fr Solomon Mfa founded:
The “Ungoov Mba-dedoo”, an association of very old women under the umbrella of Christ to better their material wellbeing and prepare them for the life hereafter, The “Mater Dei” widows. An association of widows under the umbrella of Mary the Mother of God who herself suffered widowhood. Here, they have periodic training-- learning how to be self-reliant in a society where widowhood is seen as a curse.

A leading humanitarian voice, he has supported and garnered support from various quarters to support internally displaced people especially those within Benue state.

Fr. Solomon Mfa is a thoroughly baked man of culture. He believes that for the Gospel of Christ to be properly understood, it must be backed up with Christlike actions and be reconciled with the culture of the people. This, he blended well into his initiative the “Kyegh Sha Shwa (KSS) Cultural Festival” which holds 26th – 27th December every year.

This initiative has become the biggest and the largest gathering of the Tiv people anywhere in the world with an estimated annual attendance of Twenty Thousand (20,000), cutting across different political parties, religions and class. For this, he is fondly called “Tor Kyegh Sha Shwa” (Tor KSS- King of KSS)!

The “Oyame 1”and “Agu of Demekpe” is an ardent advocate of farming, his live and online inspiration has driven many into engaging into various agricultural activities especially in the Cassava value chain where he constantly dishes out the profitability of the venture.

As his pass-time, Revd Fr Solomon Mfa loves making friends, reading, writing, cracking jokes and telling stories with deep seated truths. He is very sociable, but is firm and fierce in defending truth and insisting that evil be called by its name.

Meet Mr. Philemon Kyaharkat Mutang an Electrical Engineer turned accomplished agripreneur and the Chief Executive Officer of Fresh View Farms Limited, a company engaged in large-scale agricultural production.

With over 10 years of experience, Mr. Phil Mutang is a recognized expert in agribusiness, driving innovation and growth within the industry. He serves as an ambassador for Africa’s food changemakers and is the President of Fresh View Farms Cooperative, an initiative that provides loans to rural women and youth in Plateau State. Additionally, he coordinates the Plateau State chapter of the Nigeria Young Farmers’ Network (NYFN).

As a seasoned agripreneur and consultant, Mr. Philemon has an extensive background in developing and implementing sustainable agricultural practices, market-driven strategies, and cutting-edge technologies. His work with farmers, agribusinesses, and organizations across Nigeria and Africa has enhanced supply chain efficiency and promoted environmentally sustainable farming practices. His expertise spans agricultural production, marketing, and finance, making him a sought-after advisor and thought leader.

Mr. Philemon has delivered keynote addresses and participated in seminars and workshops at prominent agricultural conferences both locally and internationally. Notable engagements include speaking at the Pan-African Farmers Organization (PAFO) in collaboration with the African Union International Young Farmers Summit in Kigali, Rwanda, the Scaling Export Program at African Food Changemakers, and workshops on African Union Digital Agricultural Strategy in Lusaka, Zambia.

He has also contributed to initiatives like the establishment of the African Union Pastoralism Hub for Africa, the Operationalization of the African Union Agribusiness Youth Strategy in Nairobi, Kenya, and the International Seminar on the Preservation and Restoration of Forest Soils in West Africa in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. Additionally, he has participated in the 18th CAADP conference on Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture in Johannesburg, South Africa, among others.

His engaging presentations and practical insights have inspired audiences to embrace innovative solutions and adopt sustainable practices in agriculture. Through Fresh View Farms, Mr. Philemon and his team empower agricultural stakeholders, particularly youths and women, to explore business opportunities within the agricultural landscape, capitalize on emerging trends, and create wealth.
