Join us as we wish the Founder and President of our Foundation, The Riverwood Switch Foundation, Mobolaji Oriola , a happy birthday 🎊🎉

Mobolaji is a remarkable example of leadership, wisdom and foresight. He is an epitome of passion, kindness, hard work and determination. It is not enough to have the passion to want to help people, you also have to put in the work and be determined to get your desired outcomes. This is what Mobolaji does daily with our amazing team of volunteers, in order to ensure our kids get the best learning experience.

We are proud of you, we love you and we celebrate you today ♥️🎉

To many more years 🥂

On Thursday, some of our volunteers paid a visit to our kids. It was amazing to see notable growth and improvement in our kids both academically and socially.

In 2018, some of us decided to enroll 28 kids into school and be fully responsible for all their education needs at a cost of N1.4 million naira every year 👀

At the point we met the kids, they were at home doing nothing as their parents lacked the financial capacity to put them into school. These kids could not even read alphabets or identify numbers. Some of them as old as 9 as at the point we first interacted with them😭

Yesterday, some of our volunteers ( ) paid a visit to our kids and sent me this video of some of our kids in Primary 3. Seeing these kids who couldn’t read or write 2 years ago, identify shapes, can read and write properly gives me so much joy and fulfillment❤️🥰

I’m excited about our work at The Riverwood Switch Foundation with all our volunteers and be committed to helping children from financially disadvantaged families get into school💯💯. (Pree the names of some of our volunteers on the classroom wall and the name of our foundation. Remember the classroom we built last December?🌝☺️)

As schools resume back☺️, we wish our kids a very fruitful and prosperous new session in school💯❤️.

Remember Queen Primer? A rat... A rat sat on a mat 😅

Every year, the 8th of September, marks the International Literacy Day (ILD) and we are all constantly reminded of the importance of literacy.

The pandemic should not hinder literacy and we are thankful to have been able to homeschool our kids during the pandemic.

This year’s theme ‘Literacy teaching and learning in the COVID-19 crisis and beyond' provides an opportunity for us all to reflect and discuss how innovative and effective teaching methodologies can be used to face the pandemic and beyond.
