A violinist played for 45 minutes in a New York subway. A handful of people stopped, a couple clapped, and the violinist managed to raise about $30 in tips.

No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best musicians in the world. In that subway, Joshua played one of the most intricate pieces ever written with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars.

Two days before he played in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theater in Boston and the seats averaged about $100.

The experiment proved that the extraordinary in an ordinary environment does not shine and is so often overlooked and undervalued.

There are brilliantly talented people everywhere who aren’t receiving the recognition and reward they deserve. But once they arm themselves with value and confidence and remove themselves from an environment that isn’t serving them, they thrive and grow.

Your gut is telling you something. Listen to it if it’s telling you that where you are isn’t enough!

Go where you are appreciated and valued.

One Thousand Women in One. CHIEF Funmilayo Ransome Kuti: The Lioness Who Sacked The Alake Of Egbaland In 1949

* The 7th Alake of Egbaland, Oba Samuel Ademola relenquished his throne on the 3rd of January 1949 after a long disagreement with the Egba women.
* The movement by this women was led by Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti and her sister in law who happens to be Wole Soyinka’s Mother, Eniola Soyinka.
In 1946, after a lot pressure, there was a mass refusal to pay tax by the Abeokuta Women Union but the Alake Of Egbaland and British Authorities simply responded by increasing the tax rate for women which resulted in hundreds of women marching to the Palace.
On getting to the palace, Alake’s response was that if there was any woman who felt the tax was too high, they should appeal individually.

So in January 1946, after several struggles that included the refusal to pay tax for two different years, Funmilayo was arraigned and banned from entering the palace for insulting the Alake and British Colonialists who supported the move.
Four months after her ban, the Egba women at this point were ready to do away with the Alake and make their demands by all means. Their demand was simply that the Alake should be removed from office. So they demonstrated on the streets of EgbaLand undressed which was a Taboo in the Land.
As soon as they got to the palace, the district and resident officials of the the British Government were not allowed to leave the palace.

Meanwhile, as they protesting, they sang in Yourba:
“Alake, for a long time you have used your male part as a mark of authority that you are our husband. Today, we shall reverse the order and use our female part to play the role of a husband.”

In a bid to cool things off, in June of the same year, the Alake of Egbaland travelled to Jos for holiday. In his absence, he appointed a special committee to look into the women’s complains and he also went further to suspend all women taxation. He even agreed that the women should have a representative in the central committee.
Unfortunately, it was a little too late because the women were no longer interested in his efforts to please them and they insisted that all they wanted was the renouncement of his throne, so their demonstration continued.
When Alake returned, as a hope of good fate he resigned his position as the head of the Sol Native Authority but these strong women of Egbaland insisted that he renounced the throne and still continued in their demonstrations.

After this, the Egba Chiefs and members of the Egba Native Authority passed a resolution against the Sole Native Authority system and the “then” Alake was charged with corruption and abuse of power, so he was rejected as King.
On the 3rd of January,1949, the Alake abdicated the throne and the women struggles for years yielded a Postive result. Therefore, Funmilayo and three other women from the Abeokuta Women executive council were all appointed to the Egba Central Council that replaced the Sole Native Authority. The women taxation system was also cancelled.
After the success of the Abeokuta Women Union, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti expanded the union across the fedration in Lagos, Calabar, Enugu, Abba, Kano, Benin and Ibadan. So the Union’s name changed to Nigeria Women Union.
Education, Marriage and Family
Funmilayo was brought up by parents that knew the importance of education and she became the FIRST female student to have attended the Abeokuta Grammar School( she was called beere for this). After completing her studies in Abeokuta, she moved to England for more Education before returning to Nigeria to become a teacher.
She was married to the first president of the National Union of Teachers, Reverend Israel Oludotun Ransome-Kuti. The marriage produced 4children; Olikoye, Beko, Fela and Dolapo.

WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND...

Prof. Jubril Aminu was once the VC of University of Maiduguri. During his tenure, there was an Aluta struggle and some students were rusticated.
Four of the rusticated students came to Gani Fawehinmi to challenge the action.
He fought the case to the Supreme Court and won. The students went back to complete their studies.

Later, Gani was arrested over his anti-SAP conference and was flown to Maiduguri, then driven to Gashua. At the Lagos airport, not knowing where he was being taken to by the security men, Gani played a fast one - he told his captors that he wanted to use the toilet.

He got inside the toilet and quickly scribbled on a toilet paper - "To whoever uses this toilet, this is Gani Fawehinmi. I am being flown to an unknown destination by security men. Please, let the world know". He placed it in a conspicuous place, flushed the toilet as if he just used it and came out.

When they got to Maiduguri, they had a brief stop over at the SSS office, where a lady officer offered Gani a cup of coffee.

Gani was hooked on coffee like drug. But this time, the will power of Gani came on. He told the lady officer -"so you people have got information that l can't do without coffee. You think you can poison me? From, today, I stop taking coffee ". That was how he ended his addiction to coffee.

He was later moved to Gashua prison, in a most decrepit cell where he collapsed after some substances were sprayed in the cell.

He was rushed to the University of Maiduguri Teaching hospital. When he regained consciousness, he found a doctor examining him and he protested, asking the doctor not to touch him.

The doctor, not wanting the security men guarding him to hear, he whispered to Gani's ear - "Chief, you are in safe hands. Can't you recognise me? I am....., one of the medical students rusticated whom you fought for our reinstatement. I am now a doctor. So, relax. You are in safe hands".

And that was how Gani's life was saved - reaping from the good deeds he did earlier, which he had forgotten.

Moral Lesson Of The Story:

Do good always and it shall come back to you.

The Mystery in Nigeria Today

During my short break from work, I went on a tour to a small village in benue state named ZAKI-BIAM.

It was the HUT in that village that got my attention so I decided to stop and feel the presence and the atmosphere of this little village because that was the first time am seeing a HUT with my korokoro eye..😀😀

According to my little research, the name ZAKI-BIAM was named after a palm wine seller named Zaki. he is the head of the youth in this small village called Biam village.

Zaki-biam is a big town in Benue state.
It is surrounded by smaller villages and dominated by the Tivs speaking.

The Tivs are known for farming and their success is trapped in major produce like Yam and Groundnut.
They have the highest yam farming and market in the whole Nigeria and abridge most African countries.

In the year October 20-24,2001 there was a mass ex*****on of unarmed Tiv civilians by the Nigeria army during the tenure of President Olusegun Obasanjo as a civilian president.

The massacre, killing over one hundred Tivs, was a surreptitious operation of the Nigeria army to avenge the death of 19 soldiers lost during an unending war between the Jukum and Tivs
The mutilated bodies of those soldiers were found on 26 October,2001 near a primary school in Zaki-biam.

It was recorded that the invasion took place as a result of a triggered speech made by the president,Mr Olusegun Obasanjo during the funeral of deceased soldiers which took place in Abuja.
He noted that the people involved should be tracked and brought to book.

Today in Nigeria hundreds of our soldiers die and nothing happens.

According to Late.sani Abacha,he said, any incident that happens within 24hrs and the cause is not known by the government,it means the governments are involved in the incident.

J. Marion Sims “the father of modern gynecology” purchased Black women slaves and used them as guinea pigs for his untested surgical experiments.

He repeatedly performed ge***al surgery on Black women WITHOUT ANESTHESIA because according to him, "Black women don't feel pain.”

J. Marion Sims is called the "Father of Gynecology" due to his experiments on enslaved women in Alabama, who were often submitted as GUINEA PIGS by their plantation owners who could not use them for sexual pleasure.

Anarcha, one of those women, was an African-American slave woman who was forced to regularly undergo surgical experiments while positioned on Sims' table, squatting on all fours and FULLY AWAKE without the comfort of ANY anesthesia.

It's been calculated that
Anarcha was operated on roughly 34 times between 1845 - 1849. These operations helped Dr. Sims hone his techniques and create his gynecological tools.

It would be more than appropriate
to credit Anarcha, along with other nameless slave women, as the "MOTHERS OF GYNECOLOGY"

FULANIS OWNS NIGERIA

We must make Nigeria a Fulani nation and that's final. There is nothing anybody can do about it. When we said that Nigeria belongs to our father Uthman Dan Fodio, it wasn't a joke. Haven't we told you that the oil in Bayelsa and anywhere in Nigeria belongs to the Fulani? Are Fulani not in charge of every oil wells and oil companies in Nigeria? Who owns d oil in Lagos State? Dangote of course. Didn't we tell you that Benue belongs to the Fulani by the right of conquest? Didn't the Fulani become indigenes in Benue and Jos? Soon a Fulani will become governors in those places and our conquer of those places will become complete. Are you still listening to the ranting of that governor Orton? He is just making noise, seeking sympathy and fooling his people. He knows he got no balls. He knows he can do nothing. What did he do when we asked that they submit their weapons? Nothing. They submitted, even when they knew that our foot soldiers the Fulani herdsmen are still with their AK47. They handed to us their double barrels and we kept our AK47 and you say Fulani is not in charge. Are we not in charge?

We laugh when people make noise. Let me ask you people. What did you do when we started showing you all different faces of the president? What did you do when we took over the police, the army, immigration, custom etc? Did you cough? Is Fulani not in charge of all security segments? Is Fulani not DPOs and Army chiefs in all your localities? What have your leaders done about it? Have you not seen herdsmen killing people? Have you seen one herdsman in police cell or prison? How many herdsmen have they sentenced? Have you heard that Army attacked herdsmen camps? That Air force bombed them or police responded when our Fulani herdsmen came for attacks? What happened when we killed 300 in Agatu? What does that tell you? Is it not enough for fed govt to declare state of emergency and fish out d Killers? Govt will only sympathize.

What does the silence of your leaders tell you? They are our slaves. Both from the South South, South East and West, every one you call your leader is our slave. And before anyone joins them, he or she must agree to be our puppet.
Do you wonder why Ebonyi state governor still protect Fulani herdsmen and kill his own people, even after our herdsmen killed his own people? Are you surprised that former Governor Obiano has Miyetti Allah's representatives in his government? That's when Fulani herdsmen under Miyetti Allah are killing his people? We own them and they are our puppets. We can save and destroy them any time. Can't you see what is happening in Imo State? What did your leaders do when we removed your elected governor and put a man that took 4th position? Did they cough? Ihedioha is foolish. For one year we wanted him to start worshipping us and he refused. He allowed IPOB to demonstrate without our soldiers killing them. Now he is a governor only inside his family house. Hahahahaha. Let me tell you the truth. You must worship the Fulani if you must rule your people in Nigeria. Our slave Hope is doing a nice job. He has killed ESN commander and he is still killing. When we are done, you all will understand how powerful the Fulani is.we are master planner.

Do you know the number of Fulani from west and North Africa that have become Nigerians in the past 20 years? And with NIN registration more will become Nigerians. Are Fulani not sacking villages and renaming them? What have you all done about it? When we declared no visa for Africans, we knew what we were doing. We will take over Nigeria and you all will not do anything. We opened our boarders and allowed Fulani from West African countries to come in and we call it 'visa on arrival'
If you cough we imprison you, send you to exile or waste you. Yes, your leaders are our slaves. Is Tinubu not worshipping us? We promised him president and he started betraying his people. Let him come and be president let us see.Is Tinubu and Osibajo not fighting now? It is part of Fulani agenda,d presidency is going back to the north.wait and see how it will happen. That one in Rivers State called Governor Wike. That one is a big clown. He was bragging to be a hit man. Claiming up and down that he love his people. What did we do? We simply promised him Vice President position, gave him more chance to loot his people and he went mad and started killing his people. He gave his own Obigbo women to our soldiers to r**e and kill. We are not done with you guys. Those ones they call Ohanaeze is now ours. When last did u hear them talking? We bought them over a very long time ago. Whatever they say today is what we want. They are now a tool to further Fulani reign. They said that they can't be Islamized and fulanized, but you can go to Enugu and Ebonyi state and you will understand what we have done.

West? We are on top of the game. We have already taken Ilorin a long time ago. We have gradually taken lots of places. Didn't we sent them to Bene Republic as refugees? More and more to come.Where are the Afeniferes? Where is Sunday Igboho? Where is Nnamdi Kanu? Where are the Yoruba Obas? Where are the human right activists? They are all silenced and caged.

The only obstacle along our way is that one calling himself Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB. But we will deal with them. We will use his own people to deal with him. And we have started already. Didn't we get his people to proscribe his group, even when they killed no one? Didn't his governors support operation python dance that helped us kill more than 300 of their own youths? If you doubt it, then tell one leader in South East that condemned the killing if not that stupid and useless Abaribe? We have raise men among his people to write against him. We have successfully bought some people around him over, using their own Eastern leaders. But in their foolishness they never knew it was the Fulani that sent their own people to buy them over. Is his former ally and deputy not today against him. What did you think happened if not the power of the Fulani?

We are getting closer and we got no much time. Koran must be dipped into the Atlantic Ocean. And that's is final.Islam is spreading fast and many Christians are converting to Islam,Where are d pastors that can talk? They are after their own selfish interest.

Nigeria is a Fulani inheritance. We planned this decades ago and we must actualize it. Presidency is going back to another Fulani man in PDP that will spend another 8years.Wait and see as things unfold.
