GEPaDC_UN Women Project call for applications for the mentoring program.

This form is for young women and experienced female leaders who are interested in participating in a mentorship and pairing program aimed at strengthening leadership capacity and providing practical exposure to decision-making spaces. The program brings together mentors and mentees across key areas such as leadership, advocacy, governance, peacebuilding, gender justice, climate change, health, and economic empowerment.

As part of the program, all selected participants, both mentors and mentees will first take part in a structured training session designed to equip them with the necessary skills, set clear expectations, and provide guidance for effective engagement throughout the mentorship period. Following the training, participants will be carefully matched based on their areas of interest, experience, and availability.

Please note that there are limited slots available, with only 25 mentors and 25 mentees to be selected for this cohort. Selection will be competitive and based on the strength and relevance of each application. The application form will close on 20th April 2026

“What happens when silence breaks — and women rise?”
In Birnin Ruwa, fear turned into strength. Pain turned into power.
From silence to strength, this Hausa drama tells the real story of transformation in Birnin Ruwa and Kasuwar magaji Maru and Gusau LGA, Zamfara State. Through the FEF-OSC supported Resilient Futures Project, women and girls accessed safety, GBV response services, dignity support, skills training, and peace dialogue platforms. What began as vulnerability has become leadership. Today, women are not just survivors — they are mediators, earners, decision-makers, and voices of change in their communities.
