GEPaDC Holds 2-Day Internal Review and Lessons Learnt Session
The MEAL Team of GEPaDC recently convened a 2-day internal review and lessons learnt session with staff as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen project implementation, organizational performance, and internal systems.
The session provided a platform for staff to reflect on progress, share experiences, identify implementation challenges, and collectively explore practical solutions for improving the quality and effectiveness of GEPaDC’s work.
Key sessions focused on organizational performance, project implementation processes, data collection and reporting flows, communication and coordination, accountability, cross-cutting issues, and action planning. Staff also participated in a hands-on session on the effective use of GEPaDC’s digital tools to enhance data management, monitoring, reporting, and evidence-based decision-making.
The meeting was highly interactive, featuring group exercises, games, and roundtable discussions that encouraged staff to share lessons, experiences, challenges, and recommendations. These engagements provided valuable insights into areas requiring improvement while strengthening collaboration and shared ownership of organizational priorities.
The session concluded with the development of practical action points aimed at addressing identified gaps, improving internal processes, strengthening coordination, and supporting more effective project delivery.
