Today we flagged off the First Round of Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Week 2026 right here at Dala Primary Health Care Facility in Borno State.

With our nutrition partners, health workers and community leaders standing together, the message is clear: every mother counts, every child matters.

Vitamin A, deworming, MUAC screening, IYCF counselling and antenatal care are now moving to every community. The work has started.

Thank you Borno nutrition partners for showing up and standing with us. This is how we protect the next generation.

A clean environment is a healthy community.

At Nkamson Charity Foundation, we know that hygiene and health start from where we live, learn, and play. Clean streets mean fewer diseases. Clean water sources mean safer children. Clean spaces mean dignity for every woman and child we serve in MMC/Jere.

1. Dispose waste properly
2. Stop open dumping
3. Plant one tree
4. Teach a child not to litter

We’re glad for all the organizations that partnered for this important event. From climate action to community resilience, protecting our environment means protecting women, children, and future generations in Borno.

What happens when a project close out? Learning continues.

At the APHA Project Closeout Workshop today, we heard directly from adolescents, reviewed key achievements, and made commitments for sustainability. The real win is ensuring that the gains for children and young people in MMC/Jere continue beyond the project.

Thank you Plan International Nigeria for investing in documentation, accountability, and exit planning. The work continues.

We recently visited Grow Strong Foundation

What an inspiring experience. We saw firsthand the powerful work they’re doing to support children and communities through education, nutrition, and protection.

From their dedicated team to the thoughtful programs they run, it’s clear they are creating real impact where it matters most. We learned a lot from exchanging ideas with their team the kind of knowledge-sharing that makes the entire sector stronger.
