On the Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, we join the global movement to break the silence, challenge stigma, and promote dignity for women and girls everywhere.

Menstruation is natural, yet millions of girls and women still face barriers to safe menstrual hygiene management due to poverty, lack of access to sanitary materials, inadequate WASH facilities, and harmful cultural norms.

At Hope and Awareness Foundation (HAAF), we remain committed to advocating for menstrual health education, access to hygiene materials, and safe spaces where girls can thrive without shame or discrimination.

Menstrual health is not just a health issue, it is a matter of dignity, education, gender equality, and human rights.

Let us continue to build communities where every girl can manage her period safely, confidently, and with pride.

Today, on World Children’s Day, Hope and Awareness Foundation stand with every Nigerian child dreaming of a safer, brighter, and more hopeful future.

Across Nigeria, millions of children continue to face the harsh realities of conflict, displacement, poverty, hunger, lack of access to quality education, child labor, gender-based violence, and insecurity. In many communities, children are denied the opportunity to simply live, learn, and thrive.

Every child deserves:
📚 Access to quality education
🍲 Nutritious food and healthcare
🛡️ Protection from violence and exploitation
🏠 A safe environment to grow and succeed
🗣️ A voice in decisions that affect their future

As we commemorate World Children’s Day, we call on government institutions, humanitarian actors, community leaders, and citizens to prioritize the rights, protection, and wellbeing of children across Nigeria.

Children are not just the future, they are the present. Investing in them today means securing a peaceful and prosperous tomorrow for our nation.

Together, let us create a Nigeria where every child is safe, heard, educated, and empowered.
