Enrich-Initiative joined partners at the GBV Sub-Sector February Coodination Meeting held at the Frad Foundation office Maiduguri Borno State.

The session was chaired by UNFPA and the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development (MoWASD), and we were honored by the presence of the UNFPA Resident Representative, whose visit further strengthened collaboration and commitment to addressing Gender-Based Violence across the BAY States.

The meeting further provided space for open discussions on emerging issues, gaps, and strategic priorities aimed at strengthening the overall GBV response.

The coordination meeting continues to serve as a vital platform for strengthening partnerships, enhancing information sharing, and ensuring a harmonized, survivor-centered response across the region.

This Thursday, we’ll focus on how can education and skills development reduce trafficking vulnerability with insights from two incredible speakers leading the fight against trafficking at both national and regional levels

Together, they’ll unpack how national and regional laws are working to protect people, strengthen coordination, and prevent trafficking across borders.
